Not her best, but a weak Sam B is still streets ahead of the rest.

The problem with Sam B is that she will become boring to listen to quite quickly.

Probably, she just stands out in a sea of mediocrity.

Weak? Not one other person in the competition has anywhere near the power she has nor the range. She is a positive powerhouse compared to the others.

Bad song choice - deserved a better one than this for her singing

Sorry but I think Luke and Tamera have far stronger voices with much more vocal range.

Seeing her stuck up there on that staircase made me think of a Morecambe and Wise sketch.

She's so dull. That's it.

I agree. I was shocked to see all the negativity on here.

I am hoping it was tongue in cheek

Tamera sounded like she was trapped in a box and Luke sounds like a year 7 girl who has been chucked out of the school choir.

God did u really need someone else to back you up before recommenting.....

I believe that Luke and Tamera have far far better voices with tone and range and have far more marketable voices than Sam B who is okay for cruise ships and albums for Steve Brookstein type lovers.

I thought it her most engaging performance so far, good enough to put her in the middle of the field tonight.

Was surprised to hear her say she didn't know the song: I'd have expected it to be familiar to most folks over 20 or so, never mind singers, and despite my having lacked enthusiasm for the Beatles since 1963 I feel as though I've heard it dozens of times in assorted situations not all in the distant past. Must be getting old.

I liked it. She made it more modern than the Shirley version - anyone know what I mean?

Sharon confirmed on Xtra Factor that the producers wouldn't let Sam sing something else. Make of that what you will.

I have to agree. Sam Bailey was really good this week. I don't think it was her best week but she was not blah.
