Isn't it strange that the stand out dance this series (imo) was at the beginning! and that Sophie has not really progressed. I had such high hopes for her.

I absolutely loved Sophie & Brendan's Charleston, it was Sophie's dance of the series and probably one of my all-time favourite Charlestons on Strictly or DWTS.

I thought the choreography for Natalie & Artem's Charleston was great and Natalie's performance was very Josephine Baker but I hated the song so much (I hated it on DWTS, too) that I couldn't get past that to enjoy the routine. I didn't really think the choreography worked with the song either. With different music, I think I would have enjoyed this routine much more.

On ITT tonight, Craig said he preferred Sophie's. May as well close the thread now.

Indeed.

Can we compare their wigs now please?

Now for Halloween, Sophie had an alarming bob with fringe that came right down the middle of her forhead. Natalie had a bob too, but with the fringe curling off to the right. Which was best? And does the angle of the fringe indicate a political slant?

I think Natalie has had previous training in wig wearing and that this is grossly unfair.

The dances are over and done with.

Who cares who likes what?

Banging on and on relentlessly about whose was better is a bit of a waste of time

The only thing that matters is what they do next.

Sophie's was more of a happy pleasurable dance. It was fun and made you smile.
Natalie's left me cold.

That would be As long as it applies to every contestant and pro

The wigs are important. They were like a Tardis. Bigger on the inside than on the outside.

Perhaps Natalie's hair is like the Girls' World I had as a kid. It pulls out and retracts as you need it.

Obviously Natalie's wig was far superior as it had to be be made of an industrial strength compound to contain all her glorious as much as I like Sophie's hair for sheer volume of hair it has to be Natalie.

I wonder if her eyes change colour when you tap the side of her head?

Please don't try it, you'll break another bit of her.
What name??

I preferred the style of Sophie's charleston but Natalie's was more challenging and well executed.

I also have to say Sophie was better at dancing the quick step than Abbey too. There was far to much gapping during Abbeys dance and also Sophie had more, twist and turns, stopping and going....much more content.

You could have driven a bus through the gapping in Abbey's routine!

And the gapping was throughout the routine, there were very few moments without any gapping. Craig was absolutely right to pick up on it and if Len wasn't so inconsistent, or if Abbey were a celeb he liked less, he would have picked up on it, too.

Yeah But you would have never have got it into the ballroom on account of it being full of B&S's props.

I think there is an invisible table that is wedged between her and her partner. At least with Sophie, you could see the table.

There was a bus on the way, it couldn't get in as there was a huge bucket in the way.
