There are millions of female journalists who are not as up themselves and self loving pushing themselves onto celeb programmes desperate ...really desperate ....to win and be adored.

Perhaps if she didnt lean on her hand over the back of the setee when talking to guests or put both arms over the back like she was in the Fonzs' cafe , i would treat her with more respect.
To see her off camera or when no ones watching ...the act stops when caught unawares.

So yes I respect female journalists, but those who are more natural and can ad lib.

Not at all. Susanna Reid was marmite long before her appearance in Strictly Come Dancing.

Susanna Reid......'left field '?....... Smirk!

indeed, but they always ruin it when they style her for the show. the training room footage of her in her jeans, with her hair loose and unstyled is much more appealing. imho of course

I supposed you installed some spy cams in her residence then?

Do keep up. Susanna was always a contender for the final. BBC do like to support their own doncha-know.

Was just hoping for a bit more competition along the way, with hopefully someone to upset the apple cart. Sadly the best hope has been beset by injury and ringer status.

No need to elaborate, I've already heard it chapter and verse.....

ETA The grey leggings seemed to have fairly universal appeal....

Always dip her in Artem's tanning booth and then slap thick icing on her face and she looks ten years older. Somehow Abbey always looks younger than she really is, strange that...? How did Abbey do it? Maybe she does her own make-up???

Yet they scored the same on Saturday. Nice try.

Dear SCD-O, let the naysayers and conspiracy theorists run riot. What does it matter?

Not really. The damage has been done. The judges are just marking Natalie & Artem for their skill but over marked everyone so they devalued a 10 regardless. With the negative feeling towards her any decent score works against her. Especially for a Charleston after the Paso and with the memory of Sophie's still fresh.

To be fair, between Suz' Paso and Nat's Charleston, I preferred Nat's a little more. I was apprehensive with the music choice and still didn't like it but I could see how creative the dance was. In my one-word review thread (my first impression of their dances without knowing the judges' scores beforehand) I actually scored Nat higher than Suz.

Absolutely no offence taken.

I still stand by my statement though, I don't know about many, but some might agree with you.

Actually thought they should have scored less than Kevin but more than Abbey.

gosh, i never knew they could be so completely evil! - only natalie and artem are being marked on merit, everyone else is being falsely overvalued, all in order to execute some fiendish bbc plot to get susannah to the final? this stuff is dynamite. have you considered you might need to go into hiding?

I like her, but that's really apposite.

I was so happy Nat returned after the week's bye, and when she lost that pro-dancing face when she danced that charleston, and I was so intrigued as to where they hid her HAIR, and she did a really good impression of Betty Boo, my mum's favourite character, one which I saw in one of her trinket box when I was young. I know, I can be irrational and sickly sentimental at times.

This week Sophie's radiant smile (as opposed to her stock expression of nanchalance) made her my fav celeb, and Susanna and Nat were joint second.

Of course if she had insisted on the whole family uprooting to follow her, then that would have made her equally 'cold & calculating'. She chooses to work but also be there for her sons as much as possible. Something that we should be applauding rather than deriding.
She is lucky enough to be able to afford to do all the travelling to see her family daily, something that is important to all parents surely. Most mothers would cut of their right arm to do the right thing by their children & to me that's all that Susanna is doing ie juggling lots of balls in the air rather than making their own life easier.”

Well said Jan.

She's successful, intelligent, attractive and confident. What's more, maybe just a little too likeable, surely she can't be all that? Just too many positive traits to grate on those who are lacking in one or more of them I suspect.

Oh not, not the old 'I´ve met her/him' comment! She isn't doing a good job of being modest or humble but in your eyes maybe...

Abbey is the least stuck up and there's no way on earth anybody could say she thinks she is 'something special' - oh, you just did.l One then.
