I wished some people would stop throwing the word " hate " or " haters " so casually here .

Not having a strong opinion about a contestant or a pro, doesn't necessarily make you a hater.

Not liking a contestant routine (even though it received very high scores ) doesn't necessarily make you a hater.

Yes. I don't think much of Natalie in lots of ways, but I don't "hate" her.

Well I doubt whether anyone means it in the true sense of the word......I use it these days more because the mods seem to allow it (whereas previously they did not) and its a much shorter word than detractors

Having said that though its obvious that there are a few who do hold some rather entrenched dislike for some of the celeb's and these are mostly aimed at Abbey, Susannah and at the top of the list this year Natalie.Dave also recieved more of his fair share. I certainly do not take the word seriously any more on these forums and that may be a bad thing suppose.

Agree. However, I do worry about how some seem to be as obsessive about someone they are not keen on as a favourite.

Me too - worry about them I mean. There are one or two who take fandom to pathological levels. It can't be healthy for them.

Totally agree. Although the obsessiveness of some on here for their favourite is so weird.

That I suspect is to counterbalance the excessive negativity.

Yes I can see that but their posts are getting so predictable they don't even allow a tiny bit of criticism.

The "hate" word is used to describe even the mildest of criticism about anyone on the programme, by someone who would be satisfied with nothing other than "effusive praise" about their favourite.

Yes, even worse is that phrase "haters gonna hate"..pathetic in my opinion.

They get "double entertainment points" from me, if in a response including the word "hate," when I've said that I thought "there was "a little too much" (of whatever), if they come back saying, "I s'ppose you'd only be happy if there were none at all!"

It does scare me a bit. I don't engage much with either Susanna or Natalie, but to go about writing so much about someone you truly don't care about is a tad bit odd (to say the least).

Personally, i just shrug and move along. Perhaps to do with their being so many beautiful/competitive girls this year and it becomes some sort of sorority battle

I wasn't trying to demonstrate what was wrong really. I simply wanted people to understand the physics or biomechanics that makes Argentine Tango work. I love the dance and it saddens me to see it compromised.

Some people write stuff I' d only write if I did hate someone. Only a minority of posters and postings, but some nasty stuff does get said.
