Radio 4 Extra Audio Broadcasts 6pm every night

Hello everyone,

Has anyone started listening to these ? I like that you can jump onto a new story every night at 6pm but putting the rest on at midnight then is a bit odd though. I'm guessing these are Big Finish stories ?.

Doctor Who and the Daleks: Interesting and different slant on the introduction of Ian and Barbara. I think I do prefer the TV version though. Only on Episode 3 but William Russell draws you to the story .....

Ta for the heads up. So much going on at the moment that I can lose track a bit! (As Peter Cook once said in a Pete n Dud sketch; "That could confuse a stupid person." )

So this is 'Doctor Who in an exciting adventure with the Daleks' then? Bought the book in a jumble sale as a newly besotted Doctor Who fan as a kid and thought it was a great read. (just checked....I-player beckons!)

And it's got the wonderful Mr.Russell reading it.

The two stories read by William Russell are from BBC Audio but the other stories broadcast this week are all Big Finish

Actually I've quite enjoyed it. Its the kind of thing I want to listen to when cooking Sunday lunch. More soothing than the endless X Factor repeats ( much as I enjoy it from time to time).

Regarding losing track I know what you mean. This weeks blitz of programmes is a such a change after months of the odd bit of Who but I'm not really complaining. I'm feeling happy

I jumped onto the next story radio 4 Extra story Protect and Survive which is fine. I do like Ace and have no idea who Hex is but i'm enjoying every thing I can this week up to the main 50th event.

Viva Doctor Who!
