S4 repair and Carphone Warehouse
I purchased my S4 in May from Carphone Warehouse from the Norwich store. A mark started to appear on the screen which has now grown bigger. The specialists suggest it might be that the glued screen is coming away from the base. They said they want to return it to Samsung and either fix or replace.
My concern is that this could take at least two weeks. Is the fastest process using Carphone Warehouse and waiting those two weeks? Is this nothing that can be fixed in store? They also mentioned Samsung retailers who might be able to help too, which is why I'm asking for alternatives. |

Some Carphone Warehouse stores used to be "express repair" centres that did fast repairs in store.

I'll ask in Norwich. Not sure what to do for two weeks without it though

Samsung website has a list of Samsung service centres, just put in your postcode.

It looks like the CPW is the only place I can go in Norwich

I found CPW to be pretty slow when I had a phone repaired. Manufacturer on the other hand (not Samsung) - speedy quick. 3 day turn around to replace the whole screen assembly should be reasonable. I don't think Carphone can manage this.
And you'll save a couple of days by cutting out the you->Carphone-> Samsung then Samsung->Carphone-> you process. |
