Yesssss they look alike . As you can see I'm a huge Federer fan and they do look alike

Lovely post . I find her very adorable and lovely

She's grown up a lot now she's settled down and I'm not particularly bothered by her but enough of this shy sweet innocent lark. She's been around the block more than a few times. She literally fought tooth and nail to land a footballer as the photographs in the tabloids of her fighting with a love rival outside a night club a few years back demonstrate.

Sometimes though we can not help it.

After the last few weeks and seeing her reactions , I have come to the conclusion that even though she must get told how beautiful she is and so on, this girl can NOT take a compliment. It doesn't come natural to her at all. She isn't aloof ,doesn't come across like she better then everyone else, her embarrassment at good scores comes across so blatantly why do people not see this? Yes she flicks her hair, same as some have a nervous tell, stuttering, twitching... and so on.

Find my self increasingly wanting to go off on one at some of the nasty personal things people say about her. last night been the worst after her high scores (maybe she was over scored) but so were most of the other contestants, its Blackpool and every strictly fan knows that's what happens at Blackpool, No surprise there.

Am I the only who thinks she's actually a really good dancer? lol”

So she should be she took Ballet training lessons..but obviously prefers not to talk about it..

Anyhow not that its at all relevant but didn't she humiliate Peter first.”

I can't say I've watched any of her reality tv shows- but surely if she was adopting a persona she knows the viewing public would want, she'd have won every show she's been in? As far as I'm aware- she hasn't won any?

What exactly do you mean by that comment?

What is it with these working-class girls, with their 'natural talent', as Len describes it? Chelsee Healey was the same, with the same sort of background, and turning out to have amazing natural rhythm and oodles of talent just like Abbey.

Of course both are hard workers. Abbey looked unwell last night when in front of the judges, her face was slightly swollen and flushed like she had 'flu or something - but there were no complaints from her. And yet people here endlessly criticise her. I can only conclude that they envy her astonishing beauty - and her wonderful talent.”

Old and gaunt looking......Oh well we all have different idea's off beauty

That she had a reputation not unlike Danielle O' Hara......likes her wealthy footballers. And I say that as an Abbey fan. Ditsy and giddy she maybe but a virginal innocent she is not. She certainly moved in the faster and racier lanes of the Liverpool, Manchester and Cheshire sets. I think the baby and the London move have calmed her down a little.

But you're saying that she's adopted this persona to attract votes? Surely she'd be changing it every week? Or there would have at least been a difference in her after landing in the bottom 2, because she'd have realised it wasn't working? She's been the same throughout.

I wasnt expecting to like Abi but i actually think shes ok, i dont find her attractive but like her down to earth demeanor, she dose appear to have a hidden talent for dance, as for the ballet lessons thats nothing to Natalies dance training where she reached quite a good level in tap, shes certainly started a few rungs further up the ladder than most.

No one said she was some sort of machiavelliean personality disorder type.

Just rather ingenuous and a bit you know, fake.

She's not stupid, but Moriarty she ain't.

Before she married Pete there was a front page tabloid 'Cocaine Exclusive. It was before the last but one World Cup had Pete was pressured into giving her the boot. Plus various exclusives on both of them having infidelities pre marriage. When asked what he would be if he wasn't a footballer Peter Crouch said 'A Virgin' which pretty much sums it up.

It was another poster who said that Abbey was a different person in another RTV programme to what she is now, I just said that it maybe because she has adapted her persona to suit.

I know all about the cocaine business, but that doesn't confirm that Abbey is a Danielle O' Hara. Didn't her and Crouch just cheat on each other once?

It doesn't mean she's been around the block - we all know what that means.

You might not like her but at least have the decency to deal in the truth!

I would hope anyone of her age has had the chance to live it up a little and have some fun. Dear God, when we start questioning a dance contestant's morality and passing judgement on someone's young and single life we have lost the plot.
