Without him the revamp of the show wouldn't have worked. He won awards for his performances, David Tennant didn't.
Yet with all the repeats, his series is never repeated. With the top 10 enemies shows on BBC 3 at the moment, not one features Christopher Ecclestone.
I confess, he is my favourite of the 3 most recent. I think his portrayal of the Doctor as a lonely, soul-sick warrior gradually brought back to life by his relationship with Rose is at first compelling and finally stunning.
That moment Rose after looked into the heart of the Tardis to save him and he looks at her with a crooked grin and says "you're not supposed to do that", full, at last, of love and gratitude and sorrow, my heart almost breaks.
Why won't they show it anymore?

I think he is talked about as much as any other Doctor but if you're referring to the 50th, who knows , no ones seen it yet, we were surprised with Night of the Doctor, so who knows what other surprises are round the corner!

No idea but I sat through the baloney of the Martha section and then... nothing.
