Why is there a coax from BT Vision into TV?
Hi,
Why is there a coax TV cable going from the BT Vision box to the TV? I want to know what happens if I remove it. For example, will BT Vision still get new channels? I would not be removing the coax from the aerial to the BT Vision box or the scart cable. I just want to use the cable elsewhere. Thanks J |

The cable is there so that you can tune the TV into the Freeview channels on the aerial independently of the Vision box. So you could use the TV to watch something else while the vision box is busy recording loads of programmes.
If you remove it it will have zero effect on the Vision box but will prevent the TV being used to watch TV independently of the Vision box. |
