Solving Unemployment EE Style
slaguru

Sick and tired of people just walking into jobs in Albert Sq

Sam throws hat at Ian, leaves job to just walk into another one.

The brothers Dim (Moon) stroll in, now work for Andy (I know it s under pressure but it's still a job)

Alfie, thrown out of Pub, couple of weeks in the Market, and bang ... has his own stall.

For all the unemployed in the UK, get down to Albert Sq, you can always find a job in the Queen Vic, a part of Ian's Empire or the Market... Don't forget the minute mart as well.

I know its not supposed to be real life, but can't we have some small grasp on reality.

And whenever anyone mentions the job centre, this very vacant expression on the other persons face lol

EE shows an unrealstic impression of unemployment. I mean we don't see anyone struggling to make ends meet and having to fetch benefits, it's like a world de-tached from reality.

Another thing, wouldn't Zoe be able to claim benefit if she is now pregnant?

Zoe??? No benefit if she has an income!!! If she kept the baby she may be entitled to means tested tax credits to top up any income to a certain level if it was below that level.

The Millers do unemployment!!! You think Keith would be scared to live in Albert Square in case he accidentally got a job.

The most unrealistic thing in EEs is the fact no one works outside Walford.

Having left most of my lifem until last year in East London, I can tell you at least half of people commute into Central London for work. Most of the younger memebers of Walford would be working in the City or West End.
Like when Dennis was trying to find a bar managers job and Zoe said 'we could always move' Errrrr or else Dennis could get his lazy ares on the tube and work up town or in Essex somewhere.

LOL, yeh how has he avoided it
But then again, Rosie got a 'job' in the Vic within 20 minutes of arriving, even if it is only 'for pints'.

The Sam stuff last night REALLY annoyed me. They could at least have waited an episode or two before she found another job, rather than 30 seconds.

LOL, and Sam didn't even ask for a job or mention that she needed one.

Thats right.

Well there are bound to be lots of jobs, We watched some of the 20th Aniv episodes on Gold over the weekend. One of then (where little Mo clubs Trev), was shown.

We were shocked by the number of characters that were now dead. And this was maybe four years ago. Of course Andy and Den are on the way out so thats a new LandLord and Book Keeper required on the square.

My guess - Mini Den for Landlord
Jonny (yes another Gangster) Allen for Bookie

YAWN....

Sonia works at the hospital, Johnny Allen has clubs all over London, Rosie Miller cleans at some posh place and gets free food for it. There has also ben quite a few mentions of different places around London these past few weeks.

I'm talking about the fact that in the real world of east London, most people commute to office jobs in the City.

Anyway, doesnt Sonia work at Walford General?

I agree with Slaguru. It's laughable isn't it? Even Spencer got himself a management job.

But managing Beales chippy is hardly like managing BP or Microsoft is it?

I think that Pat will be running the Bookies which will be known as 'Honest Pat's'

Keef has a job. He is Rosie's agent. She works and he drinks.

Anyone who has ever driven a car, or been a passenger in a car can get a job as a mechanic at the arches

Anyone know where you can buy Coley and chips.
