Best way is to phone the network isn't it as you need a carrier unlock.

Is it jailbroken?

If it isn't i'd still phone your network and ask them, apparently some are happy to unlock it.

Or there's this

No idea whether this site is any good though?

What network is it on? You should have done your research before buying it? Or better still get one that's either already unlocked or on your network.

If it's any network apart from Orange it should be pretty straight forward to unlock it and cost around £20.

So what network is it on?

I'd always advise unlocking properly via the network it's on.

Even if it's jailbroken(which I dout) , it can't be 100% unlocked, only software unlocked which means it will be unlocked until the software is updated, then it will need unlocking again.
