Been trying to find a video of the judges comments on Austin Healey's 'jitterbug' (which I absolutely loved) but all I get is the dance - can someone post a link please?

a) Try waiting slightly longer than fifteen minutes for an answer before you bump.
b) The reason you may be out of luck is because Austin Healey never did a jitterbug. Do you mean the Jive? If you do, the link's here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2MbpP31Zgk

36 minutes from your original post and you are off on one.

I am glad you are not my misses as I can ignore the request for doing the washing up for hours before the wife implodes.

Wrong one mimi (no judges comments in the BBC link).

Edit: OP this is one with the comments. The quality isn't great, but the comments are there.

OP's fault for shouting and stamping their feet. Not the best way to get the message across

Very very very proud Mum. My Son is at St Johns College Cambridge so I drive past the sign post fairly regularly.

I think I'll start a thread saying I can't find a recommendation for a good blender/liquidiser and then throw a hissy fit when you don't all rush to give me the link.

That'll work, right?

Stig and Smokey, you are lovely people to have posted the link the OP needs despite being sworn at. Now should I buy a Kenwood Chef or a Kitchenaid, you cretins?

What do you mean, it's got nothing to do with Strictly?

Depends on whether you want it for looks or how hard wearing it is. if you want it to look pretty in your kitchen, Kitchenaid every time. If you want something that is tough and will last forever, then go for Kenwood. I was kneading bread in mine, walked away and it fell off the kitchen side, not a mark on it.

You may find that a number of people who might have replied were working during your lengthy 15 minute window between request and rant.

peeve, if you're even only half serious, I got mine from Harts of Stur. They sell the KA cheaper than most, but are reputable. There is a great KA offer on at the moment - buy before 24th Dec and get the ice cream attachment free (Harts sell for £71).

Jan, best of luck to your son. I can only imagine how proud you must be.

OK, I know it's totally off topic, but thanks for sharing that. Up till now I thought I was the only one

Still got kenwood I was given as wedding pressie 20 years ago!

And yes, I was one of the people who might have replied after work and getting home, obviously the 3 hour wait would have been totally unacceptable to the op

I wouldn't go for a Kenwood personally- but that may be because I have bad flashbacks of a couple of years ago when I was making a wedding cake and 80 cupcakes for someone just before Christmas. Cakes all done and feeling very organised, I had started started mixing the buttercream- my Kenwood of 2 years burnt died. Just died. I distinctly remember crying , swearing and then having to mix the rest of the buttercream by hand which just isn't the same, because it was way past shop opening hours. I can't remember what time of night/morning I got to bed. Have blamed Kenwood ever since!
Brought a KitchenAid in the Christmas sales that year- I love it.

Oh- and just to stay vaguely on topic- Austinwazrobbed.
