What Rebecca's medical grounds for not being included in trials?

Someone mentioned asthma on here.
Don't know how true that is though.
Don't think she'll be excluded from all of them.

In the episode thread, someone said that it was because she is asthmatic. Not that it matters, she has only been excluded from one trial and I doubt she would have been voted anyway.

The task is getting locked in a small upwards coffin like structure.
She has exercise-induced asthma, She has an inhaler but hardly ever has to use it.

The trial doesn't sound like ideal asthmatic conditions to be fair. They're dropping a lot of dusty sand on top of them aren't they? With her naturally panicking and breathing heavy because of the pressure and the bugs, it wouldn't be good for her at all. Fully understandable. Anyway, even if she hadn't been ruled out, she wouldn't have been doing it anyway.

Well they were just asking, what do expect people to do ? just not say anything and ignore the fact that she get's to miss a trial ?
I'm absolutely shocked that DUNDEEDBOY didn't start this thread like he usually does every year. But I'm sure he'll start one about the older celebrities getting it easy soon enough!

That's completely irrelevant, if you're not medically fit enough to be considered for every task, you shouldn't be allowed in.
Every year we get passengers who are medically excused for this, and medically excused for that.
You're either fit enough to go in & accept whatever comes your way, or you're not fit enough to enter & pick up a nice fat fee period.
No grey areas for me I'm afraid.
Perhaps she was perfectly willing to do the task but the medical people didn't want to take any risks on this particular one. It is just an entertainment show after all.
Is it too hard to find 'Celebs' who can ALL participate in the trials? They are after all getting paid.
Should most definitely be a level playing field all the way.
Whether we like it or not, or believe it or not, those exempt from trials always run out of favour with the viewers.

It's not private if she sells herself to reality TV then cops out on medical grounds. We have a right to know hug as we are being asked to pay to vote for her later in the show. People who want privacy stay off television. This is bare all TV!

I personally like Rebecca, it's not aimed solely at her, but surely it becomes a tad unfair to the others!
