Look at how many threads people have made on Joey :P Even people that dont like him seem to talk about him an awful lot, thats a good sign seeing as its not a vote to evict its a vote to win!

Of course not. His possible win depends on whether that number outweighs the number of people who do like him. It seem to on DS, but Faceook and Twitter may be a different matter.

Can't disagree with anything you've said, although as you yourself have had a bet on Essex to win, you have to admit you are a little biased!

I think it's very common for people to think "All my mates like him so he must be popular" which is a classic "herd mentality" which is what makes people back (for example) Liverpool every week, regardless of who they are playing and what the price is.

Of course, it doesn't work like that in reality and I have a feeling the majority of the watching public hope that he doesn't win. Whether that translates into votes against Essex (for whoever he goes up against in the final) is another matter.

I was unbiased before I placed the bet and I placed the bet due to my beliefs of him winning by a landslide, but yes I am biased now I guess, also with liverpool the result isnt directly influenced by the public, e.g my friends saying lpool will win every week arent able to influence the outcome, where as my friends saying joey essex will win ARE going to effect the outcome as they are going to vote

Yes I agree. I find it depressing too.Why didn't Joey get his bottom teeth done to match the top set?That makes them look even more cartoon like. I haven't liked anyone from TOWIE or Geordie Shore on anything outside of those shows, which I can't stand. I don't like him yet either. If they have such huge twitter followings I am going to ignore it if he wins as I did Charlotte in BB. Second place is the real winner now. That or just give up.
