Yep she's really down to earth and very understated. Getting the fire started with her tampon - lol. The comment when watching Joeys massage - like watching porn with your parents had me laughing my head off. Really like her so far. Would like to see her take part in a challenge that really plays to her strengths. Reckon she could be a slow burner who lasts to the final 3.
I really like Rebecca. She's got a great sense of humour, isn't taking the show seriously at all, and just seems to take everything in her stride. I'm hoping for her and Matthew as the final 2 (I do realise the unlikelihood of that). I definitely think she'll be the last girl standing (though there is only 4)

She's an intelligent woman with a sharp wit. I really like her. Only one in the group at the moment that I'd like to win the show actually.
Agree she seems like a genuinely lovely girl.
It's sad that she feels to insecure about her looks but even without the Boyle jokes, it's a sorry indictment off modern society that people are judged so much on appearance.
I actually really felt awful for her when she offered Joey Essex a massage and he just snubbed her to her face and got one from Amy instead. Must be a bit of a kick in the teeth as all she was doing was trying to help the guy out.

I think she's a bit self absorbed to say the least . Everything is ok in Adlington's world as long as people are recognising her achievements and ignoring her failures.

I'm not sticking up for joey (that's the last thing I'd do) but I'm wondering if he heard her. I can't believe that he'd be so rude as to ignore her.

Has she not got any savy at all . I mean surely she could see that Joey and Amy have formed a bond and as he was sitting right next to her it was quite clear which of the two he'd prefer to have a massage from .
I like her, but I do not know why she cares about what that Joey says. She seemed offended when he mentioned Amy was the only fit girl in there. Why did the comment matter so much? She shouldn't care about what he thinks.

Doesn't she have a partner? I think she should just try to enjoy the experience, without letting Joey's comments get to her.
Joey probably only made the fit comment about Amy, because yes, she is pretty, but single too. I think if he said that about Rebecca, it would have come across as disrespectful, considering she is with someone. I am not a huge fan of Joey, but I do not mean he meant any disrespect with his 'fit' comment.

You'd never hear a male Olympian talk like that because a man's looks aren't automatically used to determine his worth. Rebecca has achieved great things in her life, and she's only 24. Despite this, however, it's her looks that are often the topic of conversation. Frankie Boyle wouldn't have made a joke about a male athlete's appearance, because it's not a natural reaction to factor in a man's appearance when making a judgment on their value, as it is with women.
Rebbeca is a natural lovely girl, I think she will do vry well. Such a contrast to the village idiot Joey.

I couldn't swear on it (I'm sure an eagle eyed viewer can confirm or deny) but pretty sure this was how the whole thing came about- Rebecca offers, he snubs her and get's one from Amy instead right in front of her face.

This post is ridiculous and makes no sense. Offering a guy a massage (a sports massage from someone who I'd wager is quite used to them) is entirely a nice thing to do, and has no bearing whatsoever on whether she is savvy or not.
You talk about a Joey and Amy bond like that means no one else should perhaps speak to them, or offer to do anything, which (and I'm not trying to be mean to you here) is just ridiculous.
You say it was quite clear who he would prefer a massage from. This is irrelevant to the point being made.
All i've seen is her moaning about her looks the washing up and how she takes a pee in a swimming pool. Not her fault as its the Joey show.
Really like her, she will do well and this will help her develope a media persona .

I've never seen anyone LESS absorbed than Becky Addlington. She seems to be a nice normal person with a self deprecating sense of humour who is calm and kind.
Unless she changes completely in the next couple of weeks, I'd like to see her win.

Yeah her and kian are probably the least self absorbed in the whole show..... I still remember her interviews after the races in the olympics where she was apologising for not winning gold... Felt sorry watching her in those interviews.
