I remember when Mark and Karen won that Mark's wife rushed on to the floor and seemed most put out by Karen. The latter looked like to me as though it were she who had won and not Mark! I thought then that his wife must feel insecure but didn't know of any other rumours and missed the VT for the rhumba training being referred to here.

Well it is a matter of public record that their eventual divorce was granted on the rounds of her unreasonable behaviour. She didn't contest that but I don't think the detail was published. (Is their a prurient smilie?)

... her unreasonable behaviour ... what did she do?

Edit: Or what is the speculation, as the detail's not published?

They are divorced

But Mark had been having an affair (not with Karen) - it came out during the series.

He and his wife patched up their relationship but divorced some time later.

Does my memory fail me?

No, exactly that.

This was the moment Mark stole the ovaries from the SCD female viewers I think...

TBF it was a 6 year affair - that's a lot of 90 minute indiscretions

No I think your memory is sound (still). He had been having an affair it seems but the divorce was filled o the grounds of his wife's unreasonable behaviour and was uncontested. Whatever it was that was unreasonable was never revealed. Their divorce was a quicky papers stamping exercise not a full on Paul McCartney jobby. I only paid attention because there were pictures of Mark - swoon.

He's still got mine But in my defence it seems he is a man that can make indiscretions last for 90 minutes. Not many men can sustain 90 minutes with out a football and a couple of nets involved.

'ere, I object to that.

I can be "at it" for hours.

Mainly because I have to keep stopping for a rest

It must be very hard to see your boyfriend/girlfriend sharing such intimacy with another person. They are only human after all and the partnership between pupil and teacher can be very close.
It wouldn't bother me in the fun dances but now and again after the passion generated by a dance like Their Paso i would probably react like Karen.
Mind you she's the one going home with Kevin and i daresay watching your partner as a matador dancing with another woman could be a turn on in most cases, especially if he wore his outfit home.”

No man or woman will ever get that close to another human being except for your partner . And remember for SCD its not just the 90sec on sat but weeks and maybe months of close intensity with some of them doing up to 6 hrs a day .

We know indeed it has led to affairs and breakups of relationships . I certainly would not let my partner take part .

James has said since that this was all a load of rubbish cooked up (heh!) by TPTB. I got the impression that he was the last to know about it and wasn't especially pleased about it.

Gosh, you lot are not very trusting

I tend to think that, if things are fine between people, other stuff won't happen. That might be a bit simplistic, but it's our pearl wedding next year.

BIB Awww, how sweet .

And I think that celebrities (and pros too ) always think that they know what they are getting themselves into until they are doing the show. I don't think that its simple as it seems .

If you love someone - let them free. If they return they are yours for ever. If they don't they never were..

I can't believe I am writing that, feel slightly queasy now.

I agree with you in the sense that (and I am talking generally now) people can sometimes think things are fine, or not be conscious that they are not, and something latent can be awakened by some connection or other elsewhere...

Oh and thanks about the BIB

Very true but I believe you can love someone but still have an affair.
