EE/Orange SIM only contract
mark e a
19-11-2013
Hi

Sorry if this has been asked before, and I sound like a complete klutz.

I got a call from Orange recently offering me an additional contract which was supposed to drastically reduce my call costs. I signed up for £11 per month and I recevied a new SIM, which I put in my phone yesterday.

I know I probably sound a right buffoon, but I didn't realise my number would change. They made a massive point of confirming that I understood the tariffs etc.

This is a real problem as I am self employed and have my existing number on my business stationery etc etc.

The only thing I can think of doing is swapping my old SIM back and cancelling my new contract.

is this something any one else has had trouble with or am I just very dumb?

Surely having an additional contract would just increase your costs as you'd have 2 lines to pay for?
I'd cancel the additional line and see if you can improve your current deal.
