We mainly watch iPlayer / DVDs on our laptops, but our babysitter complained of not having a TV to watch, so a relative donated to us a Panasonic TX-22LT3.

It's a a 22'' LCD TV - she paid well over a grand for it in 2003 I have the receipt and other paperwork to prove it

What cheap internet-connected set-top do you recommend I buy to give it a decent picture?

I have already bought a NOWTV box, cheap as chips at £10 and carries iPlayer just fine (we don't have a TV licence and aren't interested in getting one).

But as the NOWTV box has HDMI and the TV is SCART only, the NOWTV has to output through an odd composite AV cable, and it's a shitty picture - the BBC subtitles (important!) are almost unreadable.

The TX22-LT3 has RGB (via SCART) and S-video, so I;m looking for the cheapest possible set-top box that can carry BBC iPlayer and output in RGB or at a pinch S-VIDEO. Being able to play DVDs would be a bonus too.

Happy to troll eBay for something second hand. Suggestions?
