Me too ..Hope he goes far

Me too, he's a sweetie, I would love him to win.

I've always thought that he's a decent chap, for someone who's made millions, he remains very down to earth and seemingly unaffected by the fame and fortune.

Love him so far. If all we get is bloody Joey and Matthew Wright for days on end I will switch off. There should be an exclusion from tasks the day after anyone has taken part in one as this is just tedious viewing.

At least there is one Essex boy to be proud of this year

He really is a very humble man considering his achievements. I met him when he opened a snooker club close to where I worked. I got to shake his hand.

He came along with John Virgo and Cliff Thorburn. Steve walked behind them and spoke to anyone that wanted to talk, he spent ages signing his name and posing to photographs. Barry Hearn (his manager) was trying to hurry him along, but he just carried on signing.

He was the current world champion, but you would never have known. He was so down to earth, and is a great ambassador for snooker.

Anyway .... I hope he does well in there.

No chance, the BTTs will be Wright vs Essex until the camps merge and then they will take it in turns

I am quite a snooker fan, I have pretty much always followed the World Championships since I was a kid
So Steve Davis is a pretty famous person to me

well he's certainly more 'interesting' than Jimmy White was

As a life long fan of the Jimmy, he was such a disappointment

Loving Steve though. He's my 2nd fave so far
