Clever conversion therapy there!
How cynical!!
Yes, if she makes the final, that is when her problems begin I suspect, it will be anyone but Natalie, well on here anyway
There is that but the huge majority of voters won't have ever been on DS

People can only be persuaded if they want to be...I cannot imagine anyone not liking Mark as he is so adorable.
Hey! I want half the credit in order to back up my Mark Merchandising venture. Mark mugs, Mark fruit bowls, Mark knee supports. You get the idea...

I love Mark and Iveta but if he goes through on Saturday I hope that he does a good dance otherwise people will be saying, quite wrongly in my opinion, that he got the sympathy vote because he spoke about his knees.

I think Mark expected to leave last Saturday so, if he wanted the sympathy vote, he would have mentioned his knees last week especially as he was doing the jive.

I think Mark is a thoroughly nice bloke who works very hard and I just don't believe it would enter his mind to play the sympathy card.

I agree - that's what I meant about his timing being just right ie after the jive

An interesting thing about Mark is that he seems universally liked. Reading thought this thread and others, especially Pet Monkey's thread yesterday where people have listed their impressions of the remaining contestants, most people express really warm feelings to him.

Nobody thinks he is the best dancer, nobody thinks he will win and few would want him to but everyone seems to like him, most proclaim him to be lovely and many hope he can go "just one more week"

I can't remember a previous contestant who has been liked by almost everyone on DS.

Very true. And I also think his partnership with Iveta has helped that as well.

Mark is a bit of an "everyman". Someone people can relate to, who has rhythm and has a go. Coupled with the great partnership he has with Iveta.

It is the dance ability sets Mark above the normal in your face obvious comedy contestant. Not polarising in the way Dave was.

Or maybe its connected to dissent, though civil, still drawing attacks.

Ironic then that people might question positive threads about.. say Sophie?
