It's quite disrespectful, unless Laila wants people to, not to learn a campmates name. No one called Helen 'Rosie' or Charlie 'Janine' last year, did they?
Shes probably used to it by now. You think that when she's out and about in town or the supermarket I'm sure she's probably approached and called "Mo" by fans. When I saw June Brown on Graham Norton a few weeks back when talking about Dot she always was saying "I" married Jim and so forth rather than "She" married Jim, I guess once you play a character for so long you just answer to both names
Laila Morse is a stage name; an anagram of 'mia sorella' - which is Italian for 'my sister'. The name was conjured up by none other than her brother, the actor Gary Oldman.
Her real name is Maureen Oldman - known as Mo. So they're calling her by her real name, not her character!

I knew Laila wasn't her real name but I didn't realise it was actually Maureen/Mo.
