In Corrie I know where everyone lives, I know who lived there before and when they have been decorated etc.

But in the other soaps I hardly have a clue who lives where. I know where Paunline lives but I have no idea how they fits in geographically to the other houses or whereinfact anyone lives.

I wouldnt know what the outside of Marks house looks like and how far it is from Paulines.

There seems to be a lack of location history in the other soaps .

I know exactly what you mean. I've been trying to figure out for years where's where in EastEnders and Emmerdale for that matter.

Im finding it difficult to figure out where people live in Emmerdale, but with Corrie and EE im fine with knowing where everyone livces, and the location compared to others.

There is a map of where everything is on the EE website:

Its a shame Eastenders doesnt make more of the history of the houses. Like in Corrie , Sally can redocorate and fine Hilda's of murel underneath.

It would be nice if the locations became part of the fabric in Walford. I love the nostalgia of bulidings in Corrie.

yeah but in some shows you dont need a map. People seem to move all over the place in Walford.

Like who lives in Pete and Kathys old flat? Where was that flat? Is it still there?

Where does Ian live now? Where was he living before?

I cant keep track. I think the only reason I know where Pauline lives is because shes the only one who is still in the same house.

Ian use to live in the flat behind the chippy. He now lives in Mark's old house which is in the corner or albert square but the front of the house is on another road. There is a road between his house and Andy's house and Ian's house backs onto the Trueman house.

well Emerdale and Corrie it is easy to know to an extent with the street and the village, put i can't place everything in my mind in Eastedners case.

Put with Emmerdale they go off the village a lot and seem to be the only soap which makes regualrs use of the vehicles certain characters drive.

Yes they did, but because of that mortage storyline they had to leave.
They now live in one of the flats next door to the Watts old house.

I always thought the houses in Knots Landing's cul-de-sac had so much history to them.

They actually did some flashbacks in the later years like when Gary and Val moved in, and some of the action that took place at the Ewing residence. And then there was Karen's house - loads of action took place there.

And also, Laura and Abby's houses.

Seaview Circle certainly had its moments over the years!
