Sir Bruce Joseph Forsyth-Johnson CBE might be heading in the direction of the House of Lords!!
I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing?

I think right now, MI5 are working out where he'd do least damage to the collective British consciousness.

If ever there was a good reason for an elected House of Lords this would be it.

It's a good thing, of course! Besides, anything is better than those wealthy out-of-touch/above-the-law aristocrats who have been lording it over these islands for centuries.

Bruce is brilliant at empathising with the dancers and I admire the way he intervenes on their behalf when the judges get nasty, so I am quite sure he will be a fount of wisdom and good sense in a place not known for either.

At his his age, with that many, he'd be trampled to death in the rush for the expenses hand outs.

Not April 1st is it? Must be.

Where did this piece of rubbish come from? I'm glad to say that Google didn't give any results.

What, you mean the way he tells them not to listen when Craig (accurately) tells them what they were getting wrong. No, far from admiring that, I really wish he'd remember that's a big part of why the judges are there.

The thought that this might actually be true made me search further, and I found a reference in a new book by Julie Stenson

'Brucie - The Biography of Sir Bruce Forsyth'

http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=i...0lords&f=false

The fourth page of the first chapter says it all.

Not a book I will be buying.

I think he would be a disaster in the House of Lords. Just imagine him making a speech, especially if he wrote it himself.

The only good thing is if he had to spend time in the House of Lords, he probably wouldn't have the stamina to do Strictly as well.

Is their such a thing??? Oh yes,of course, after this weekend it forgot about Natalie and voted manically for Susanna. And Spain will declare war on it by sending rotten difficult-peel tangerines and nasty courgettes as a result of Kevin's gross insult to every self-respecting torero.
