Joey Essex on course for record winning victory
This is the first time in IAC history that a contestant is so far ahead with the bookies! 4/6 with bet365 in a 12 runner race is absolutely unbelievable! Odds shortening after every episode the guy is unstoppable!

Mark Wright had even shorter odds right through his series, and dougie pipped him at the post to win.

I seriously think it'll be a Joey and Kian final 2, and the anti Joey vote will ensure that Kian wins. You heard it here first!

Your act is nearly as tedious as his.

Joey is his own worst enemy. He will attract the anti vote as much as anyone. I think Kian or Steve will win. Matthew might make the final.

By that stage ill be able to have a small saver bet on whoever is in the final against joey just to safe guard my stake money in case of an upset

Why? The only reason I can think that he would be so ahead with the bookies is the fact that he is the so called ITV 'chosen one'.
I am also appalled at the bias on the ITV2 show. The 'panel' have slated Lucy and Matthew (especially tonight) for no apparent reason, whilst bigging up Joey. Yes, he has done well in the trials so far (still don't think he should have got the first one though) - so maybe he isn't as 'scared' as he wanted the viewers to believe. I think Matthew is right - it's all an act. I will be surprised if he wins, there is a long way to go and there are others who we may feel are more deserving. It's one of the best casts for a while so, for me, I would wait and see other characters coming to the fore. My money is on Rebecca ftw - she is coming across really well. |

I thought the idea is that you vote for useless numpties to do the tasks and vote for your favourite to win. It seems like viewers can't get enough of Joey and are voting for him for any reason.
I'd like to see more of the others for a change. |

OP, you really are starting to sound desperate now.
Maybe if you keep making these threads (the 4th or 5th one now stating this is an easy win for Essex) you will eventually convince yourself you've done the right thing re-mortgaging your house to back the faker

Joey is a surefire lay at those odds, it's not rocket science. Kian will win. *kisses*

I can see why the bookies have priced him that short. Let's be honest, it's been The Joey Essex Show for at least two or three episodes now. But what that price doesn't take into account is a growing anti feeling from viewers who can see through his tedious act (let's be honest, it's not hard!) and don't find it remotely entertaining to watch, especially when it's being forced down our throats at full pelt.
Don't get me wrong, the inescapable bore Essex is nailed on to go close but because he hasn't quite nailed his default mode "thick reality TV contestant" and is letting his guard slip with increasingly ludicrous examples of his supposed inadequacies I fancy him to be beaten by Kian right at the death. And even though I'm not particularly fussed about Kian either way, it will be a very sweet moment and I'll probably let out a cheer. His best hope is that the producers ease off the gas a little bit, do the unthinkable and show us some of the others, giving him a chance to blend into the background a bit where his potential to irritate is somewhat less, only to ramp up his screen time with some favourable edits nearer to the final. But pigs will fly before Essex doesn't dominate an episode and he's all set up tomorrow to be the task hero once again. 4/6 you say ? Take him on with Kian.
