  • I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!
Wouldn't It Be Better To Give Them Food W/O It Being Dependent on The Bushtucker?....

I'm so fed up every year that this show and BB too being so focused about food and that is what most of a "starving" camp of celebs go on about or think about and or are driven about!

Wouldn't it be better in order to get them more lively in general for them to be given good food and treats anyway without it being reliant on the Bushtucker trials and that they have to do the BT's and if they don't or say I'm A Celeb Get Me Outta Here, that they lose a significant part of their appearance fee and could end up losing it all?

Good alterntative idea huh?!

I think the celebs would rather starve for a few weeks than ever give up even a pound of their appearance fee.

No OP making the trials as a way of winning food must remain. It makes the more likely to complete the trial if its for food and hungry camp mates will tend to get more annoyed in situations. It is an entertainment show after all.

The trials are the show .But they need to sort out the same person being voted all the time day in day out .

No, the whole point of the show is watching them suffer

But all we get as a result is celbs drianed, starving and focused mainly on food and talk of little else! How is that exiting?

If they were given food they would be much more lively, talk more about themselves and there careers and surely that is a large part of why we tune in to hope to see because if its about seeing them suffer in the trials, why not just use members of the public instead? Yeah they'd have to chage the name but I don't see the point in watching starving celebs who keep on going on about it.

It would mess things up more if there were the 'haves' and 'have nots' now they're all in one group, with some looking on hungrily (and very, very resentfully) while others stuff their faces. Don't know how it could be done, but it would stir things up.

They get food when they are not filming in the hotel.

if they get fed anyway the celebs will hardly do the trials, the trials cost quite a bit of money to do so I believe, they will want them completed as much as possible, else what's the point of them? . Its not fair for a celeb to lose part of their fee if they are picked by the public to do it.

Whether people like it or not the trials are a very essential concept of the show , as is campmates not having enough food if said trials aren't completed, the basis of the show would be somewhat lost if they didn't happen like they do now.

Like I said if they refuse to do the trials then they should cut their appearance fee say by up to 15% for every trial they refuse or pull out of.
