Isn't it surely an automatic thing? You put a tissue over your nose...and blow it....? I'm sorry, I don't believe it for a second.
HOW can you not know how to blow your own nose?
I find it hard to believe he didn't know that, sometimes I think maybe his lack of knowledge of stuff is real but when he says stuff like this, can't get my head around it.

its not automatic.... my daughter had difficulty learning how to blow her nose. no matter how many times she was shown how to do it she just couldnt do it. she finally got the hang of it when she was about 18!!

I'm 19 and I guess you could say that I don't know how to do it, and it's nothing to do with a lack of intelligence. When I was growing up I was told to do it but it made me so incredibly uncomfortable, with feeling like my head was going to explode and the dizziness it brought on, that I gave up trying. My guess is that's what Joey meant, not that he doesn't know how to, rather than it was so uncomfortable when he tried that it made him feel like he can't do it.

If that was what he meant then he would have said so .He never mentioned being uncomfortable or anything else other than not knowing how .
