Its more of a forest then a jungle . Surely you would expect some animals to be roaming about .

Joey looks like a Hyena when he smiles with those teeth

The camp must be bounded by some sort of fence? I'm guessing maybe larger animals can't get into the camp

Otherwise celebrities could just wander off into the jungle and have a conversation away from cameras

I don't think Australia has any large wild animals. Biggest danger to humans are snakes (taipan) and red backed spiders.

Saltwater crocodiles are pretty damned large and let's not forget adult Kangaroos and Rod Hull's mate Emu.

(not that I would expect so see any of the above stroll into camp mind you!)

It's not a real jungle, it's a 'jungle environment' which is controlled by the local production team. If it was totally real, the insurance premiums for ITV would be off the scale.

Joey's insurance would be cheap though, like insuring a brussell sprout

If it were a real jungle I'd watch it!

there are animal experts etc there to ensure that no wild animals wander into the actual camp. they have to ensure the safety of the celebs first and foremost.

They're native to Queensland and Northern Territory (the crocs and emus) NSW where this is filmed is too cold for them.

The roos are generally found bounding across fields and in open spaces...trees tend to get in the way of a roo at full speed!
