Seems a shame to cut the skirt up, better to design one with the required slits etc? My ma was a seamstress, if it seems odd for a bloke to remark!

I didn't catch the show on time so I didn't see it. Will it expose her lack of hip action or hide it ???

Will depend how much the skirt changes. At the moment it is a sheer but long full skirt in blue/black over a nude body. Long sleeves and a high neckline but all in the sheer fabric.

Don't you know that the design of a dress for the rumba and any other dance for that matter can be strategic .
Wft ??? I ask a simple and valid question and I get that kind of reply .

Ah okay thanks . Does it looks like Natalie rumba dress ? The sheer blue one that she wore in week 3 ?

I was confused when I saw it and when the designer explained it. I'll hold my thoughts until I see it on Saturday. The dresses have been truly stunning this year and I can't see that this frock will be any different!! Roll on Saturday!!

It reminded me of the full length sheer negliges which featured a lot in films of the 60s.

No it's weird (sorry) it's like a 50s Audrey Hepburn dress, fitted top with full skirt and it's knee length. But it's made of sheer material with a leotard bit underneath. It's black with lots of sparkle.

Thanks . Can't wait to see it on Saturday then, by the sound of it, it seems like it's beautiful

Stunning !!! Kind of different of a typical rumba dress but I like it Ola's pink dress is WOW .
Vicky and the whole costume department have done an amazing job so far with the costumes.

And thanks Karma .

Sophie seems to have done really well with the dresses the costume department have created for her. Yes it certainly is different from the usual rumba dresses. Not too sure about the neckline though. I reserve judgement until I see Sophie in it.

I think her dress is lovely especially the colour against her skintone.

Hide it, unless it gets the chop before Saturday. I assumed Brendan had requested a DVO special. Why not, right? It worked for her - she got tens for a rumba with no hip action.

A similar style did not work for Lulu though.
