Clash with a Doctor Who film tonight on BBC2, have a feeling ratings may be a bit low for IAC

Do ratings not take into account people who record or timeshift? I'm actually going to watch IAC live and record BBC Two HD instead. Seems a bit bizarre given that IAC will have ads, but I just want to see it happen as it's broadcast.

I was reading the SecondSync blog about Dr.Who

SecondSync analyse the amount and frequency tweets generated by TV broadcasts.

Apparently the live reveal of the 12th Doctor holds the record for the highest total tweet volume generated by a programme less than sixty minutes long, with 542,531 tweets and a peak of 22,081 tweets per minute as Peter Capaldi was announced for the rôle.

The record was previously held by.............."The Only Way is Essex", which generated a volume of 391,121 tweets in its fifty minute airing on 3rd December 2012

As much as I'd love that to happen - it won't given that they seem to have made the trials even easier for Joey (it seems they want him to win that badly). I've said in another thread - hands will appear from beneath the waves to deliver the stars into the hands of our microscopic little friend.

I wonder how much crossover there is between the Doctor Who audience and the I'm A Celebrity one.
