My post was lighthearted, but I think Mark and the Edinburgh News would beg to differ on that score.
I didn't get your light heartedness at all.

Having seen the stage show of Hairspray I can tell you that Edna Turnblad does virtually no dancing. I haven't seen Top Hat but in the number from the show on SCD (a ballrom tap dance) Tom did more dancing than Edna even moves aboutm on stage.

She would be an outlier though - so far men are more likely to win than.women, and she is older than the usual female winners. If we go by previous winners, we can usually say female winners are under 30, and the best dancer in their series. Male winners are more varied in.age and ability. I'm sure Monkseal has more specifics in terms of average ages/scores etc.
Average age of a female winner is 29, average age of a male winner is 32, but the men have the three oldest (Chris, Mark, Darren) and two youngest (Harry, Louis) winners, so there's a much higher variety.

(I would question whether Natasha was the best dancer in her series TBH. She was out-pointing Claire by the end, but some of that may well have been yer standard issue post bottom 2 overmarking)

That klaxon still working, I see

I tend not to include series 1; I've only seen bits and pieces of it. But thank you!

Not now back to normal with Nat as favourite although imo she wont win which is a shame as up tow she deserves to win.

Yes I noticed Nat was back at the top, I think it will seesaw until the final, if Susanna has ballroom next week she could go top again with a good dance.
