Vodafone 4G in arenas
Well it works and its amazing. Sitting in Nottingham arena living the dream on 4G. Mates on EE and he has no data at all.

Well it is entirely 800Mhz for now.
I do wonder what O2 will do with regards to the O2 arena though, that's already got nearly as many 2G and 3G O2 microsites in it as the rest of London combined. |

Isn't London already 4G'd up so surely Vodafone and o2 in the o2 arena are 4G?

Yes but the question is whether they'll have 50 4G transmitters in the arena, or whether it'll just get served by the 3 or 4 macrosites around the arena like everyone else.

I've been to Toton just outside of the city (where the coverage checker suggests 4G is available) and the 3G speeds were abysmal
