Rebecca is clearly very fragile as a result of the abuse she receives but the only people to blame are those that have the disgusting audacity to do that to her. It felt like Rebecca and Lucy were blaming Amy for this kind of situation existing and yet Lucy herself is involved in this kind of business. I think she felt insecure because Amy was saying how she was natural and it was edited in a way that she was the bitch. They probably wanted a new person to do the trial as they knew how annoyed we got aith Helen last year. But telling her to get a nose job us bloody ridiculous

But she is in a good position with her career and an influential one too. Why is the onus on Amy who, according to herself at least, is "all natural" and yet Lucy is artificial and doesn't have to do anything to change it?

She can resent the pressure but being in the public eye and contributing to these pressures herself by transforming herself artificially versus a girl who just is what she is just reeks of hypocrisy.

If she was so passionate and mature about it. As she knows it's an unnatural pressure and unrealistic and yet is doing nothing within her own power to challenge these things.

Why should she feel bad about the way looks, just because people like you think she should get a nose job because she doesn't meet your standard of beauty. You can be insecure about the way you look but not what to to change it.

She didn't have to and wasn't expected to, as they said themselves. It's normal, kind human interaction to apologise when someone feels bad, even if you're not the direct cause, as you should know- unlike suggesting someone should get a nose job or slandering a entire gender.

Bitchiness is a characteristic of some individuals, as you've shown.

I've seen Amy on another show and she came across as a nasty cow and wasn't liked by the others taking part.. I didn't say anything about her looks at all.. I said I'd rather my daughters role model was someone who has achieved something not by just looking pretty.. Being pretty isnt an achievement

Agreed JZ Lucy has more of a problem with Amy than Rebecca does ,and started that whole debate so she could slyly get the digs in at Amy

I didn't think Amy came across as a bitch - that was Lucy IMO. And Rebecca was a bit of a let down, crying because she isn't as pretty as some people. That's life. We'd all like to be better looking or wealthier or more talented but there's always going to be people better or worse off than we are. The trick is not to compare yourself with other people.

Again, how do you know what she has achieved. Infact Rebecca's achievements have been physical too. Just because Rebecca's won gold medals doesn't make her a better role model. My role model is my dad, yet he hasn't had any significant "achievements" in his life. From what I've seen of her Amy seems like a very nice person and Lucy seems a lot worse. Please don't make judgements like that about people you don't know! And btw seeing her on some other show doesn't classify you as knowing her, cos u don't!!
