Do you think Natalie will have a partner this year?

My fingers are still crossed hoping for Scott with the Jive and either Smooth or Foxtrot or indeed any of their Ballroom!

Hope springs eternal

Oh don't get me wrong - I do like the Jordans and especially Ola! I got to meet them at a dinner/ display evening they did near me, and they were both absolute sweethearts as well as putting on a fabulous show!

I was merely commenting (as I think I did on an earlier tour speculation thread) that I am surprised if they didn't get to tour this year. Early exits and unavailable partners put any of the pros on dodgy ground, and James and Ola both have that problem this year. There are only 7 or 8 celebs on the tour and with 15 on the show, there are always going to be some who lose out...... Even allowing for the likes of Brendan and Anton who don't do the tour anyway....

We've got no Pasha, Janette, Aliona, Anya either.....

That would be nice but it seems like they announced all the celebrities that will be taking part already so my guess is that she is going to be there mostly for the pro dances/ group numbers and maybe choreograph some routines.

I distinctly remember that she choreographed most of the numbers with Ian in 2010 when Kartem did the tour.

Aren't there 7 celebs touring - so they need a spare pro for the pro dances.....

She's tweeted that she will still be doing Breakfast whilst doing the tour. She currently is only doing a couple of days a week anyway, and maybe she won't do all the shows?

Think considering all the venues & dates and Breakfast broadcast from Salford I think it will be tough but doable and the farthest is Glasgow but that will be on a weekend and Newcastle on Thursday & Friday... Just realised it will be very doable indeed..

Some years they have had 8 couples, some 7.
In Ramps/Austin/Cola's year they had 8 and Natalie danced with Ian Waite plus she was involved with the choreography but she danced with Mark Foster 2 years ago.

I'm just ever hopeful, like I said

Have they completed all the dates?
There are none for Dublin, Belfast or Cardiff

Just had a look - 9 couples performed if you include Craig and AW in Kartem's year

I would love to see Scott tour with Natalie.

James gob really is its own worst enemy isn't it? Best thing they can do is have a year out and get Ola Chops pregnant IMO. I'm certain he was the leak of the supposed bullying of Ola.

Maybe the deed has already been done.
It could explain why she was so emotionally fragile.

Why does James sound so grouchy about not being on the tour?

They would, I imagine, secure the celeb dancers first, then try to match up their pro partners. This year it has worked out that they are all dancing with their original partners.

Thanks olivej,

As a big Lilia fan I should have remembered that!
I was too lazy to look it up before, but they did well to finish ahead of Zoe Ball and Denise Lewis.

Because as he and Ola are now longest serving pros of Strictly he probably thinks its his right to be on the tour, how dare the powers that be not ask King James to be on the tour, off with their heads

James really needs to think before he tweets...his attitude is going to get him and Ola kicked off the show. I get it, he's miffed but kicking up a fuss is not going to change anything, except help ease the logjam of pros we'll have next year by getting him and Ola the boot. If Darren & Lilia weren't safe after years of service and their popularity, why would he think he & Ola would be after he's caused problems?

They must think Susanna is going to win, someone must know who is topping the public vote each week.

She's topping the DS 'who do you think will win' poll by a long way, so maybe they are right.

Doesn't take Einstein to work out who started off the Karen/Ola incident. Sounds like James has become a liability and an embarrassment to the BBC. Hardly surprising he's not on the Tour and it's a shame he's dragging Ola down with him.

He seems to have a sense of entitlement and a habit of gobbing off publically when things don't go his or Ola's way. I agree that he's dragging Ola down, and she could end up out of a job because of his latest gob-off!

Incidentally, having read what Craig said in the newspaper article (which is what prompted James' unpleasant response on twitter), I understand even less why James went off on one about it. It was only Craig being Craig, and he wasn't even talking about James, but as usual, James had to wade in! He's a real liability!

He will miss, I suppose chance to earn some money. Which is fair enough.

I'm wondering why they couldn't tour their own show like Anton, Brendan, Vincent and Flavia. They wouldn't be so reliant on Strictly then. Or perhaps they do, I don't know?

I was told/heard a few years ago that they didn't have a high enough profile or weren't popular enough to sell out venues.
That's why they stuck with the SCD Tour rather than take the risk of flopping,
