..she's far more intelligent, she's pretty and she's got that down to earth personality that's really charming.

Team Rebecca all the way.

If I had to choose one to hang out with i'd go for Rebecca as well as I don't think i'd have that much in common with Amy.

Not sure how you are able to decide that Rebecca is 'far' more intelligent than Amy from the limited coverage we have seen?

I would choose to spend time with someone I am comfortable with and that seems a nice person .Both girls seem very nice to me . Rebecca has insecurities and I would hope to maybe allay her fears . But Amy seems a pleasant girl who I would be intersested to hear her viewpoint and about her life /
I dont need to be in anyone team I like variety in my life and listening to all .

I would choose to be with Amy.

Rebecca is an Olympic Medallist and for the life of me I can't swim. I've had numerous lessons, been in the training pool with floats, woggle things and clung on to the instructor for dear life. I've cried in frustration that I'm so petrified. (I'm being serious too).

Rebecca would make me feel inadequate if I hung out with her.

(see what I've done there).

All joking aside I truly can't swim and I would dearly love to trust me.

Can't swim either and have tried like you have. Maybe Rebecca could teach us. Being serious I think I would like to find out more about Amy but there is only so much I want to know about beauty comps and the best way to pluck my eyebrows. Did Katie Price discover Amy? If so I would like to know about that maybe?!

I panic at the thought of a swimming pool lol. Daft isn't it.

Well, for all we know and as far as I can tell at the moment, I would think Amy has far more about her than just beauty pageants etc. Would be nice to find out more.

See seems quite pleasant imo.

Yes she seems like a nice a girl that enjoys what she does so I can't fault her. As for the swimming I had a near miss/drowning at the age of 4 so the only water I interact with is the shower or bath.

Same here, I was about four or five when I was swept out to sea. My Dad let go of my hand for a nanosecond and I was gone. He only found me because my long hair was floating on top of the water and he yanked me out.

I don't actually remember it but to this day I can't even have the water in the shower coming over my head. I have to unhook the shower head and hold it.

It's all in my subconscious obviously, but I'm petrified

They both seem like nice women from the very little we know about them. I don't agree with the whole beauty pageant scene. That doesn't make her a bad person. Rebecca has obviously been bullied because of her nose. All playground stuff and very damaging. The fact that Frankie Boyle joins in the bullying is no surprise, he is yet to reach 5 years old in his thick head.

Adlington comes across like a right nightmare. The kind of girl who is uncomfortable in her own skin and constantly needs reassurance from others.

Yes, and it doesn't work at all. No one has ever felt bad chatting to a swimmer because they can't swim.

Agree entirely with this comment. You'd have to watch everything you say around her . Like walking on eggshells!

It would make me feel inadequate. Can't speak for anyone else and nor can you

I don't think so, I think it's more the cameras being on her and the pressures of being in there making her a little crazy and magnifying her insecurities.

Give her a day or so, I think she'll relax a bit and be fine. I hope so.

Are they my only options?

Not sure why we all have to choose.

Good point even though I would like to give Rebecca a big hug and comfort her if she kept doing herself down she would start getting on my nerves. I have been in the position and it is emotionally exhausting. Damn I'll choose Amy then.

Thing is, I'd rather have the Olympic medals Adlington has than good looks and a career posing and preening like Amy's.

But from what we've seen so far, I'd rather have Amy's personality and Rebecca's.

Two separate personalities! How would you choose which one to wear on which day?

I kind of went off Rebecca after yesterday. She was my fave but it was uncomfortable to see all those insecurities unleashed on Amy.
I felt like Rebecca was prickly even before then like when she was complaining about Amy "pushing her off the bed". It set off the whole 'poor me' attitude.

Though I think being an Olympic athlete is something to brag about. Though I wonder if Rebecca's ever put herself in the position of someone who isn't athletic for whatever reason. Maybe they look at Rebecca with the same envy that she looks at Amy with. lol

I doubt whether anyone beautiful but unathletic has ever looked at Rebecca with envy. They might think it would be nice to be athletic as WELL of course, but gorgeous alpha females don't look at muscular but not at all model-girl athletes and want to swap places with them.
