Those Five Boys bars had pictures on them with slogans like "Anticipation", "Satisfaction" etc, if I remember rightly. I had navy knickers with a pocket (nearly 70 years young), my trusty liberty bodice, and I had half a crown pocket money.

In those days, visiting Uncles always gave you some money as they left, and Rich Uncle Lenny would always give TWO half a crowns!! For the youthful ones here, half a crown was 12 and a half pence, and bought you loads of things!!

Getting a bit misty eyed now. Thanks for the early spoiler though I don't see how Mark could be kept in, and not Ben. See you all next week. Many thanks for the great food and drink.

It all depends on how the judges judge the dance-off. In some weeks they go for the best dancer in the dance-off - in other weeks they choose the best dancer overall. With the exception of Len, they change the rules to keep their favourite dancer in the competition

Oh dear me. Mark lives again....

Unlikely, as Sophie is probably back in ballroom next week (plus the fact that this week she will have gained quite a few extra voters).

We also had brown berets, and woe betide you if you didn't have it on your head while on the tram home. We never had track suits to put on top of our PE kit and I remember being frozen to death on the hockey field during Yorkshire Winters. We were made of stern stuff in those days !

Really didn't expect that result, I'm glad as I was bored of Ben and like Mark but I thought it was Mark's time to go. Hopefully he doesn't get stuck with a latin next week.

Mark's currently tied for dance-off wins with Lisa Snowdon, John Barnes, and Heather Small. One more (lol) and he's got the record.

Ours were bottle green too to match our bottle green ( and red ) uniforms.
Horrible things they were and we had to walk all the way down the road to the school playing fields wearing the really short gym skirts with the green knickers under them past the pervs sitting in their parked cars waiting for the teenage girls to go by.

Pleased none of the better dancers ended up in the dance off but to be honest they were all a bit rubbish tonight.

Not suggesting it's deliberate or anyfink but it's handy having Mark stick around because he's likely to fill one of the bottom 2 slots each week until he goes thus preventing the "nightmare" scenario of say Susanna vs Sophie or Natalie vs Abbey.

There has to be some good reason they're keeping him in and I just can't believe it's the dancing!!

I expected Mark to go this week but having seen the dances, I think Ben's was worse.

At best though, Ben just left a week early.

Still not here yet - in my experience they ALWAYS post well after this DS forum has been provided with the spoiler - because this is where they get it from!!!!

Well I for one am happy with the result. I like Mark. Ben, sweet man, but a bit dull & very over marked until this week. That charleston was pretty dreadful. I had been worried that Ben was storming the vote & was going to be a very undeserving winner so phew from me.

Kristina is going to be a sight to behold on ITT.
