Well the test of whether we were at the same school fridgesoup is the berets. We had to wear them on the tram home and the teachers were so keen, they even supervised the tram queue to make sure we boarded the tram beretted. It was in Sheffield.

Indeed Mark. Apparently, his dance last week consisted of a number of the moves he used to perform eight times a week on the West End stage in Hairspray.

What a shame. Mark has been in the bottom two three times now it's clear the public don't want him there. Ben was actually the only one I enjoyed tonight.

I'd guess Ben messed up, which given all the side by side bits in his routine would have been easy to do. Glad for Iveta though.

Mark joins the '3 times in the DO' Club then! ”

3 times DO in a row!!!

That's some achievement

Indeed, as I said after last weeks show ...

If the public had put one of them in the dance off against Fiona and they fluffed it how would it have looked if Fiona had managed a decent dance and still been voted out at that stage?

As long as Mark is in the dance off against a mediocre dancer he may be saved but as soon as he is up against a decent dancer he'll be out.

All the while Mark is in the dance off the judges can keep the power over who goes, and when.”

Thanks for the spoiler. It's surprising that Mark is still there, but great though!

Who will be in the dance off next week, apart from probably Mark? That's the question now. All of the other six are so good.

On ITT Mark made a point of saying hardly any of their routine was from Hairspray and that it was almost all Iveta's choreography.

Thank you very much for the spoiler.

Yay! That's the result I would have wanted out of the two of them but that I never thought would happen. Mark has been doing a lot more actual dancing than Ben - so I think he deserves to stay over him.

It will probably be time for Mark to go next week though, since Ashley has improved a lot and I think all the remaining girls are strong.

On the gymn knicker front - we had those big navy blue ones - and they made us run cross country through the local town & housing estates in just those and our airtex t-shirt tops. I swear they were getting paid by the local pervy guys! Mind you, I used to be convinced that our PE teachers were sadists.

If our parents regularly forced us outside for an hour or two in the freezing cold and rain in little more than a t-shirt and a mini-skirt (we weren't allowed to wear our cardigans) - then they would be arrested. PE teachers get paid for it.

I don't agree with you obviously but thats your opinion you are entitled to it, I don't see it as smarmy I see her as being quite the opposite actually but ok.

Don't think there's anyone one in the 4 times club - can't quite remember!

I don't agree - Ben's footwork was light and quick in all the dances. He and Mark are both big guys but Ben is fit and agile.

Thanks as ever for all spoilers, not sure how I'd cope without them

Yes....http://www.thepublicreviews.com/wp-c...on-221x300.jpg

So considering Ben had never danced or performed in his life, I think he has done very well.

Yes that is true, I haven't seen the production myself but I believe a lot of it was literally the dance routine, what I was actually responding to was the posting about all the contestants having previous dance/performance experience, I don't really think a role in one musical includes that, and what about Abbie? She's a model (By the way I haven't voted for either Mark or Abbie this series)

Many thanks for the spoiler.
Correct bottom two, can't say I'm too worried about who went to be honest. Mark put a bit more personality into his performance, Ben appeared to rely on too many lifts this week, I didn't see a lot of Charleston.
I don't think it was clear-cut either way, but if I was pushed my vote would have gone for Mark..by a whisker.

Yes, it's a very unfair series and I think the producers wanted it to be controversial and succeeded. Let's hope that next year all the contestants (if any can be found) are novices and we have 4 new fair judges and new presenters.

I'm sure he did! The style of dancing was very similar, though.

They gave the two dancers we know have a shaky vote (Patrick and Abbey) the best performance slots and crowd-pleasing dances. They kept two people who I think have strong votes (Susanna and Sophie) low on the leaderboard as a buffer. Natalie (for whom I think the wheels have well and truly come off now) was nice and high. I don't think it's much of a surprise, especially as they started deramping Ben pretty obviously last week.
