For three weeks running the bottom two with the judges have also been the two in the dance-off.

Also, Ben joins the category of "sportsmen finishing bottom of the leaderboard with a Charleston and subsequently being eliminated" alongside Tony Jacklin and Peter Shilton. In fact, the only person who's ever come bottom with a Charleston and not been eliminated that week is Ann Widdecombe. There's a whole new statistic for you - which dances are the best and worst for survival in spite of finishing bottom?

Not a fan of Ben, although he's a lovely man but I really thought that he could have won this competition .

Perhaps the outrage he caused when he was so unnecessarily unpleasant to Mark the week Dave left has chastened Len a little?

Apart from Janette, the new pros have done very well this series. We now have more new pros left in than old ones!

As much as I tend to like most of the pros (nobody mention Aliona...) I do feel slightly pleased that Ben lost out to Mark after the way Kristina reacted to getting Ben over Mark in the launch show! It was slightly graceless, and the cynic in me is rather enjoying the cruel irony!

Thanks for the spoiler. Right bottom two and probably the right result but will wait to watch the dance off before I decide.
Pleased none of the better dancers ended up in the dance off but to be honest they were all a bit rubbish tonight.”

Have to join in with the gym wear discussion as I think, unfortunately, I wore the worst ever. Brown uniform with trims of blue & gold, tunics till 6th form, pork pie felt hats & blue knickers (all girl convent grammar school in early 60s). Piece de resistance was blue gym dress with divided skirt & the hem had to touch the floor when you knelt down, I promise you the nuns regularly checked this.

Since the revamp too it seems if you land at the bottom of the score chart you are more likely to go home. Ann Widdecombe an exception to that obviously

People keep calling Natalie a "professional dancer" but never provide a source for her paid dance work!!!!!

Your post puts things in to perspective beautifully!!!!!

Many thanks dmolyneaux .

About time an end was put to Kristina and her rubbish non-dances .

It is a pity that (if true) Len saw fit to use his casting vote to save Mark a second time. It is a clear demonstration that Len is just keeping his favourite in the competition in defiance of fairness.

Kristina has every right to feel aggrieved. I hope she says so on ITT.

The bookies who have updated are making Natalie the 7/4 favourite!

..but Mark clearly isn't getting enough votes from the public to be a threat to winning..even if he does make the final (which he won't as he doesn't stand much chance of staying out of the bottom two as he'll be bottom of the judges vote every week).

Mark may well not be bottom of the pulic vote every week..but he certainly isn't top either.

He's out next week for sure. He's being used as a pawn at present IMO.

Thanks for the spoiler. I can now go to bed knowing who is out BUT the wrong person went tonight. Again the better dancer has been voted out. But fear not - Mark's days must be numbered - but he is a survivor - Ann Widdicombe and John Sargeant spring to mind. Only difference is the judges are voting for him!!

Not necessarily, 2 weeks ago Len said he'd have sent Mark home over Dave if it had been left to him! Also, Ben might have messed up more than Mark in the D.O. I imagine Darcey would have saved Mark due to her marking him higher than Ben, I imagine Craig would have saved Ben given his dislike of Mark's dancing, so Bruno's the only one who can give us an honest assessment tomorrow...

It could backfire on them if Mark's support increases and he isn't in the dance-off next week. There is a lot of anger about the judges and their favourites and this could lead to a shock result.

I suspect it was a tactical decision from Len. Vote off Ben as he wins the hunky guy vote and more likely to survive than Mark next week.

Keeping Mark makes him Week 10 cannon fodder leaving the "better" dancers in the show.

Many thanks for the spoiler - can we have Susanna and Mark in the bottom 2 next week and Susanna to go ......

Awful result. It seems like the public can't get rid of Mark...thanks to the judges.

Thanks for the spoiler.

Might have helped if K had taught him a few dance steps instead of draping herself all over him every week.

I gather this is not a decision made on dance ability... otherwise Patrick is getting shot straight after Mark!

Mark was clearly a much better dancer than Dave, and Fiona completely forgot her routine in the dance-off. LOL at the idea that Mark is somehow being saved "tactically". He's just been better.
