Without a doubt the right two to be In the Dance off. I'm quite glad Ben's gone, it was fairly obvious Kristina thought the ladies vote would keep him safe for a few weeks yet so I look forward to seeing her face when it's announced!
For me Ben was just so bland, no spark or personality in his dancing; perfectly lovely man I'm sure though. He'd been overmarked for weeks however with the judges constant fawning over 'hunky Ben'.
Mark and Iveta more sum up the spirit of the show and are a joy to watch each week. Yes the show is a dancing competition but ultimately I vote for who I would most enjoy seeing dance again next week. Personally I'm hoping that Natalie and Patrick will be out in the coming weeks although that's unlikely.....

Most of them are performers in a proffesional capacity. I'm not sure why you're surprised. Actors/presenters/models/singers all perform in one way or another.
People like Julien, Deborah and Ben may have a slight disadvantage there but can make up for it if they're good enough.

I would say it gives you a huge advantage over people who have never danced a step in their lives, let alone having to do it in front of hundreds of people in a studio and millions watching from home..

Personally, I don't join in the banter between the show finishing on TV and the spoiler coming in. I just start looking at about 10pm, and if the result is late, wait until Sunday morning.
But I don't mind the banter at all. The FMs enjoy it, and why shouldn't they have their bit of fun? I am just very grateful that in amongst all the chit chat there are people who are prepared to put themselves out and get a substantiated spoiler for the rest of us. I never have any trouble finding the result in the thread.
So thanks to all of you who make sure I get the spoiler.

I agree.
Many of the best contestants/winners have had a sporting background and some of the dullest have been showbiz IMO.
I reckon we could have a bottom two shock next week with Abbey and Either Patrick or Ashley in the DO.

That was before Kristina went on ITT and claimed the judges had undermarked him
I don't rate any of the celebrities and so it will be a default winner - someone has to and probably the girl with the awful accent or the one with the awful hair or the man with the silly grin.
I really don't care about this now tacky show any more - the judges and producers have lost the plot.

Ben is probably the right one to go. He always was a bit clumsy, but tried to impress with the lifts and throwing about.

That's not what I said. If the celebs with little professional performance experience are good enough then they will overcome the advantage the others have. You may see it as a huge advantage. I don't. They are all out of their normal comfort zone in Strictly. It's not something they do, even those like Mark who has danced in 'Hairspray'. Dancing with a partner like on SCD is a totally different beast.

There are less people, so less marks between them, providing he can do a decent dance. Leaves them all in danger.
Right person went. Mark danced, Ben just stood there while Kristina danced round him. I would recommend you re watch last night and when Ben and Kristina dance try not to get distracted by Kristina and just keep your eyes on Ben and you will see for yourself.

Of course they should have their fun and the OP of the, now deceased, other thread should not have been rude about that.
On the other hand, nothing wrong in ensuring that once the result is in, it can easily be found somewhere on every page of this thread. That way, those who can't get here until way after the result don't need to hunt it down. It is the SPOILER thread after all, so let's spoil
