Can I join the debate about the spoiler thread please. A few weeks ago we were on a cruise, missing 2 Saturday shows
![]() ( watched the recordings since ) When we were in port on the Sundays we had to find a wifi hotspot, which wasn't easy the first Sunday. The wifi was so slow taking half an hour to get in, so a thread that I only had to look at one page would have been really helpful. The second Sunday we were in Gibraltar and The Macdonalds next to The Morrisons had the fastest wifi we have ever found on our travels, for info incase anyone is heading that way. In the Daily Newspage they print on board they gave us the results on the Monday which amused me as it was alongside all the important world news. The main threat to my fave. ![]() How wrong could I be.. |

I don't usually come on here, but kind of knew it was Ben as I made the mistake of reading the pro dancers tweets. While Ivettas tweet was something along the lines of 'thanks for your support, it gives us strength to do what we do!' and Kristinas was 'thanks for all your support throughout the series' and 'keep smiling!' I thought they made it pretty obvious?

He does not come across as totally inept as some of the other less capable celebrities have come across, because he has a musicality that the others simply didn't have.

Do they want Mark for the final? Bottom two two weeks running. Same marks for him and sophie( from one judge)
len does not criticise him like he does the others. he must go next week surely? I think the right person has gone this week... and I don't even like Mark. But the fact is, he danced this week, and it wasn't unpleasant to watch. |

So we know that Sophie and Susanna both beat Mark and at least one of them beat Ben in the public vote.
Also, at least one of Abbey and Patrick beat Mark. |

Sorry! Not really being a pedant (although it probably came across that way). It was just something I'm interested in.
There are bookies in my family, so I kind of grew up learning about betting odds (and how they can't always be trusted...). ![]() As it happens, I really won't mind that much if Natalie wins, even though she isn't my favourite (Sophie/Abbey and Ashley outside bet ). I just find her performances a little boring (and that's probably because I'm expecting them to be almost perfect anyway).![]() So let us stay friends, eh? |

Given that Ben was bottom of the leader board last night the judges obviously thought he was -slightly - worse than Mark so I guess it shouldn't be surprising that if Ben didn't improve in the Do they would stick with their original choice. Having said that I AM surprised! I love Mark though and his dance was one of the few last night that made me smile and I thought Bens looked way better in rehearsal - maybe if Kristina had 'faffed' less and let Ben dance more the judges would have chosen him?! I actually was hoping Mark would go out last night - even though I still voted for him! He was struggling on the stairs and I think he needs to get his knees sorted before he ends up with permanent damage. Once he goes though the element of fun will go too.

How much public support for Natalie are people seeing beyond this forum?
Btw, I'm not anti Natalie or Ashley, just saying how my conversations are. If she won, I wouldn't be that bothered, because she is a good dancer, but I would prefer a dancer who has improved throughout the series to win, IMO. Ooooh, Matt Goss is in the Christmas special along with one of the Saturdays....should be a blinder

Happy with the result . Ben was worse than Mark last night so deserved to go . I really like Mark but can't help think his exit next week is inevitable but it should be interesting to see who Is down there with him

If the judges are as cynical as I think they saved Mark because Ben may have had a bounce vote next week. Two better dancers may then have been in the dance off. Mark is their insurance policy.

I should imagine that Mark will go in the next couple of weeks though next week he might get the bounce vote as someone has just called it
. If that is the case then next week could be a "shock" elimination. When do they go to sending two couples home? My maths is weak but Tess said last night that there are just four more weeks to go and 8 couples left.....

Perhaps put her 2nd on the judges leaderboard (worked great for Abbey a few weeks back) ![]()

There's really no way Mark isn't going home next week unless whoever he's in the dance-off with falls over. Unlikely that next week, or any of the weeks after that, will be "shock" eliminations TBH - the last three bottom twos have all been the same as the judges' bottom two.
Furthermore, it will also depend how Sophie is doing in the public vote (as she is likely in the bottom two with the judges, starting from next week). She might break the pattern. |

The GBP have a curious way of saving the underdog...IF he's in the DO then yes, he will be waving bye-bye |

I really don't see how he can get out of the dance-off next week - if there was going to be any bounce effect it'd be after his first appearance. The only way he's safe next week is if everyone else forgets their routine or falls over and he ends up top of the leaderboard because he's the only one who remembers everything. Quote:
Surely there were will be some sort of "shock" elmination in the quarterfinal and in the semi-final, as with Mark gone any of the celebrities left have a decent stab at making the final.

Does anyone know what dances are allocated for next week? The Rumba would have an adverse affect on the marks for most couples, IMO.

Of those who are left, haven't they all done the rhumba? There's only been one AT so that will be making an appearance I should imagine.
