I'm not sure- but maybe Fiona didn't think that Susanna being ambitious was a bad thing. Maybe she sees it as something to admire?

Wow that's a bit harsh. And given she was actually doing the series, I think she might have a better idea of what is going on than those of us posting on internet boards!
^^^^^she was actually doing the show . Not someone posting on a message boards who thinks that he/she knows what's going on.

Most definitely. I think Susanna and Abbey want to win the most. And good luck to them.

Natalie has a different type of intensity which I also admire. I think she's more concerned with competing with herself and not letting her pro down. She's a perfectionist. She wants to get everything JUST right for her and for Artem and I can totally relate to that. I'm not sure it makes the best partnership from a viewer's perspective though. It's coming across a bit too job-like for me. They're like a pair of machines. But I think that's partly down to expectation as well. When you're so good, people expect a lot and are waiting to pounce if you mess up. The pressure Natalie and Artem are under is immense and at the moment I feel it's stifling their performances slightly.
I completely agree I think she may be driving herself a tad too hard as a result.

As for the 12 hours a day think - lets not underestimate the ability of the press to take someone's words out of context here also Fiona wouldn't necessarily had to have been dumb to have gotten the wrong end of the stick.

Seems an awfully reasonable thing to say on DS. Are you quite well?

I think katmobile should be banned - we can't have any logic, tact or compassion on here

Thanks for the link .
Very interesting .

She's very forward, isn't she ? And before anyone comes and say that she doesn't know what she's talking about just remember that she spent weeks with these people; actually did the show and you are just someone posting on a message board .

So people think 12 hours a day is ridiculous. Some people thought fainting twice in rehearsal was ridiculous. Put the two together and it all makes sense, no? She doesn't know her limits until she explores them.

This is a wonderful post and I agree. I can see that in Natalie and Artem, and I agree with your previous one on ambition and determination too.

I can relate to that feeling of trying so hard to get it just right too, but respect and enjoy watching both Natalie and Susanna.
