Three Home Signal box
Does anyone know how to see the channel a THree Home Signal box is using?
I've been using it at home and I changed my Netgear router from channel 13 to 8 as whenever the home signal box was on, all other devices woudl lose the connection to the wireless netwrok (they could see the network but would get the "Cannot join" message). Changing to 8 seemed to reduce the disconnections (not completely but a lot less frequent) but the network speed of each device became 10 times slower (interference from other items?) I'd like to keep my Netgear router on ch 13 if possible so was wondering if I could amend the HS box instead Or do I just need to do a trial and error through all 13 channels on my router? There is no documentation for the HS box that mentions channels. I can't believe I'm the only person Of course, my dream is that Three fix the transmitter that apparently has been "down" since I got my phone over 8 weeks ago! TIA Mike |

The 3 Home Signal box uses channels 9614-9662 and 10564-10612.
You cannot change it. |

If its affecting your WiFi signal, you might need to get a longer Ethernet cable between the Three Home Signal and your router. To solve your WiFi problems, you need a computer with WiFi and to install inSSIDer (for Windows or Linux) and there are similar programs on the Mac App Store (but inSSIDer for Mac is not the best choice). |
