Of course the truth is that all the celebrities use whatever skills they have acquired in their dancing. Natalie had some training years ago, she didn't really forget it it and she uses it. Susanna uses her ability to connect with people, and she really has that ability. But it's anyone's guess who is going to win at this stage. I'll go further, I think it's really up to the last dance for a lot of people. The showdance all to often is the clincher, it has been in a good few of the series. I thought Colin Jackson couldn't lose, boy was I wrong.”

You were wrong but it had nothing to do with the showdance. Darren was miles ahead well before we had a glimpse of muppet. (Obviously the muppets didn't help but the situation was unwinnable anyway.)

Given that the paso is Susanna's highest scorer so far, how easy do you think it is to translate those Blackpool dances to the Elstree floor for the final?

There are a few couples whose Blackpool routines are their best so if they do get asked to perform their best dance again this year, how easy is it to make the leap?

I'm trying to think of finalists who have done it before - either from Blackpool or Wembley - for a clue but brain is addled by a day of making banana rice pudding and having it thrown at me!

The dance was WOW but it was all about Kevin, I didn't see anything spectacular from Susanna.

Yes it was and why I didn't consider it.

Yes! Thank you. That worked well without the extra big floor (though I'll always be a mega fan of Chris and Ola's Charleston so I always end up judging all of the routines by that standard!). And they're allowed to change the dances slightly, I think? Will be really interesting to see how they translate.

Is the new studio floor bigger than the old one?

Possibly, not sure is honest answer. I was just trying to think of how they would adjust the Blackpool quicksteps or the paso from the huge arena to the smaller one. Would be really interesting to see.

Totally agree, I think her Paso was very definitely a wow moment and I absolutely loved her Viennese Waltz right towards the start of the series.
