Beautiful dance, and her outfit, never wanted to be a woman as much as I did when I saw Sophie's frock. Ooh fetch me bottle of Tweed....I'm off out on't town.

I thought her dance was beautiful. Understated and classic - and I disagreed with Bruno about it needing to be more raunchy. It was lovely. Well done to Sophie and Brendan.

Thought it was one of the nicest frocks ever on ScD.
Normally they are by default chintzy and cabaret and not a little drag queenish. Sophie could have gone out in that dress after the show. |

It was a beautiful dance from Sophie - really enjoyed it - just don't understand the judges' reactions.

Sophie's dance was without a doubt the best of the night. What were the judges thinking?

It was good but IMO it lacked something.

I hate raunchy. I really enjoyed it. Pretty miraculous since I usually hate rumba and Sophie and Brendan leave me cold.
Too many SCD rumbas are like something I imagine you'd get at a lap-dancing club. |

I always read the forum but very rarely post. I find it hard to understand the rumba (too often it just seems to be a lot of walking around and then striking a pose.). However, last night Sophie and Brendan's rumba was the first time I've really "got it". I believe they call it "the dance of love" and as Brendan said, this was a real interpretation of that. I saw a connection between them and thought Sophie danced it brilliantly. Just my opinion, of course.

Odd dress I thought. It was very elegant and modest until she lifted her right leg and then she was practically naked to the waist, think they cut that slit as an afterthought.
it suited SophieAnd again broke with tradition and did elegance instead of the smallest outfits ever ! |

I've rewatched it today and one thing that I hadnt realised yesterday was how well the mood of the dance fitted with the song. Doing a 'raunchy' dance really wouldnt have been appropriate - imo.

I thought it was a beautiful dance. Maybe not what the judges are used to with Rumba but then I don't think it was that far away from what a Rumba is.
I thought it was the best dance of the night

I didn't like it, found it boring and quite stiff.
