I think the public vote goes:
Susanna - 8 Sophie - 7 Ben - 6 Ashley - 5 Mark - 4 Natalie - 3 Patrick - 2 Abbey - 1 So based on tonight's leaderboard, that would put Patrick and Abbey in the dance-off. Are these just off the top of your head, or is there anyway of actually knowing? |

Mark/Sophie.
If the judges conspire to get rid of Sophie over Mark (I wouldn't put anything past them this series the way they have gushed over Mark) I'm switching off!

Anyway, I don't think there is a chance to loose Sophie tonight. The underscoring will mobilised a lot her fanbase. |

I think it could be literally anyone tonight....though I am hoping for Patrick and Abbey as they are the two I least care about and I would not mind which one left.

Sophie and Ben have survived some dodgy leaderboard positions. Mark seemed to have support before his DO appearances, and I think the difference over the last two weeks has been the elevation of Abbey and Patrick to safe positions, whilst the low positions of Sophie and Ben have made it difficult for Mark to avoid the DO - that suggests a middling level of support. The momentum is with Susanna at the moment - she's being massively hyped up. Natalie will never win - she's too controversial, but I do think she has some support. Abbey and Patrick have proven unpopular in the past, and since then, they've been kept in relatively safe positions on the leaderboard which haven't tested their vote. Ashley is the one I have the least idea of what his vote is, so guessing mid-table. |

I see. They weren't off the top of your head, in fact they were out of your backside.

The judge's placements + my own guess at the public order

Oh thank god you went straight to the insult. I hate it when WUMs start out subtle and draw you in to some back-and-forth before you clock them and put them on ignore. This way is just much more convenient for everyone involved.

Mark looks like he will be bottom two, he wont beat any other dancer in that position, he seems a really nice bloke but the times right for him to exit now.

I love how people tend to rank the public vote according to their own preferences

I think poor Mark will be in the dance off and he will be leaving - it doesnt matter who is in the dance off with him, I think he wont get the judges vote for a 4th time (I think)
Shame, I like Mark and I enjoy watching him but I do think his time is up |

I think that it will be Mark and Patrick, I would rather the judges save Mark, but I am sure that they would save Patrick, who they have over marked from the start.

Mark vs Ben, I think. Although I did love Ben's routine
It could be a shock result tonight tho, there were a lot of similar marks |

Well if we combine the points from the judges' scores with points they would get from the DS poll "Who is your favourite couple for week 9" Then the rankings would be:-
Natalie and Ashley joint first. Sophie and Abbey joint second/third * Susann third/fifth * Patrick fourth/sixth * Ben fifth/seventh * Mark sixth/eighth * As for who the judges would choose out of Ben or Mark, I'm not going to predict and neither am I going to comment on. The DS poll is probably quite a good indicator of the public vote. * This depends on if you have a joint score, the next position would be missed out. So two contenders joint first, therefore no second place but instead a third place. |

Now I might have underestimated Abbey's popularity and overestimated Natalie's. It would make sense for Nat not to be receiving a lot of votes if people think she'll win any dance-off and make the final anyway. This is what I'm thinking now:
