1) Ashley and Sophie's dances were the only two I enjoyed and both were slightly undermarked .
2) why can't either presenter say Ola properly
3) Natalie is good technical dancer but she leaves me cold .
4) Happy that the judges are becoming more picky
5) The music choices were awful

1) Natalie's head was much worse than Ashley's, and yet he was marked down and she evidently wasn't! Double standards much?
2) I don't have an issue with the way Sophie acting the Rumba (which I thought deserved 9s, and not a 7, Craig!) but I draw issue with the fact it's the same damn character she's played in every other dance this series! I hope she gets a rocket up the backside next week!
3) What on earth happened to Ben's footwork this week? After his Quickstep, I thought he'd do ok with the Charleston but he had lead in his soles this week!
4) Whoever picked Natalie's Tango music and Abbey's Paso music (for a second time!) needs sacking in the morning!
5) I don't normally like Patrick, but I thought his dance would have been worth 9s and maybe even 10s if it weren't for that awful floor spin Anya put in at the end! Ruined a lovely routine!

Patrick's posture worth a 10? I don't think so. 9 maximum. Not smooth enough so his mark goes down to 8. Another one off for that awful spin so that is me down to 7.

1. Really quite dreadful music choices for almost everyone. I felt like Natalie's tango and Abbey's paso could have had more power and drama if they had been danced to more suitable music and No Diggity makes no sense for a charleston. It comes to something when it's a relief to hear some Celine Dion because at least the music fits the dance.

2. I laughed when Craig criticised Mark's foxtrot for having too much "side by side". Lisa Riley, anyone?

3. Sophie's rumba was pretty and she looked amazing but some of her movements are just so tentative and wispy and I was amused by the moment when she looked at Brendan and smiled in a "teehee" kind of way like a girl having to kiss a boy in a school play. I don't think she was under marked but again it just smacks of unfairness when they praised Abbey for a rumba with similar flaws a few weeks ago.

4. Is it Stictly Come Gawping this year? Natalie, Susanna, Abbey and even Mark's idea of "performing" seems to be dancing around with their mouths hanging open. Maybe they're in competition to see who can catch the most flies? I think Susanna won.

5. I'm getting bored of this series.

Personally I agree about his posture, although for me he seemed quite smooth until the end- but somehow I feel these issues would have been overlooked by Darcey and Bruno given their wanton handing out of 10s for the ill deserving! Had it not been, of course, for that ghastly ending!

1. Oddly flat show for what has been an oddly flat series so far. I don't know if it's because I was in a state of anticipation for Doctor Who but it barely held my interest. I flicked over to the South Africa/Scotland game more than once.

2. Shocking lift at the end of Patrick's dance. Why why why? It looked so messy.

3. V.unfair on Sophie - it was a sweet, girlish rumba and if someone else had been dancing it I bet they would have got different comments.

4. Ben's arms in that vest.

The whole thing was so underwhelming I can't even think of a fifth thing

I think the judges are desperate to give him 10s but there always seems to be an error.

1. Natalie wasn't very good.
2. The rest were worse.
3. Susanna was bewilderingly bad.
4. Apparently the waltz is now a hard dance. So presumably next year, the celebs are dancing the macarena, the hokey cokey and the birdie song.
5. Oh Brendan...

1. Feel sorry for Tess, she must really feel like a nurse in a retirement home.
2. Disappointing performances from Natalie and Susanna (especially the former, as we know the latter is messy in latin)
3. Was the cameraman dancing along with the couples
4. The judges have shot bambi
5. Patrick's dance was supposed to be a VW

1. Overall impression - Meh, and double meh. They are killing this show, and I'm bloody bored with the same nonsense every week. Namely poor music choices, leading to poor routines, and wardrobe not having a clue.

2. Not one performance wowed me, which at this stage, is quite shocking. The whole show was badly produced and those responsible should be taken to task.

3. Kristina, whom I formerly admired, is starting to look like Mutton Dressed as Lamb. Have some dignity woman, you're mid - late 30s, tell Wardrobe to bog off with their silly ideas.
And Ben, stop playing up to your supposed Beefcake status. I find it just as unacceptable for a man to be treated this way as I would for a woman.

4. I'm sorry that Artem looks so under pressure that his face almost crumpled into tears in the Tesspit after their dance.

5. Nobody wears BLUE for a Paso Doble. Red or Black, it's the Law.

1. Lacklustre show this week

2. Disappointing dances from Natalie and Susanna, particularly Susanna given the Paso last week

3 Very poor music choices which didn't seem appropriate for the dances

4. Brendan unable to accept criticism. It makes him appear exceptionally arrogant. The judges weren't criticising his choreography more the overall performance.

5. Bruce in decline, it wasn't good to watch.

1. Bruce scared me - i thought we were witnessing him having
a stroke
2. Susannahs cha cha face scared me
3. At least 3 of the judges need to find alternative employment.
(am willing to give Darcey another year - but you cannot do
what they they did in Blackpool and do a complete 360 the
following week - it too confusing for everyone especially us,
the public.
4. Music choices were just awful.
5. Kristina needs to stop giving Ben weight lifting routines - let
him dance.

1. Natalie and Artem aren't just wrong for being on the show, but they're boring to boot. When a supposed injured woman can perform to that standard without breaking sweat, then you know you've got a fixed show on your hands

2. Now would be a good time for Mark to leave - on a high, while he is still enjoying it. Iveta is, to be fair, getting the fast-track to Erin Island to me.

3. Bruce needs to be retired. Not "retire", but "be retired".

4. This was not Abbey's finest hour.

5. This was not Dave Arch's finest hour.

1. Has Sophie done something to upset the wardrobe department? What was she wearing?!
2. Abbey's paso - strange music choice and strange dress choice
3. I can't warm to Natalie at all (all her dances are dull and she isn't improving)
4. Please get rid of Bruce (I refuse to watch live as I can't fast-forward him)
5. A really uninspiring show (thank god they were only dancing one dance each)

1. I loved Abbey's paso, I thought it was beautiful and strong and had a lot of content
2. I also enjoyed Sophie's rumba, she was very graceful and gave it a balletic quality
3. Susanna reminds me more and more of Lisa Riley, she has rythm and she can dance but she is also stompy and gurny and that totally spoils it
4. You can tell from the judges' scores we are not in Blackpool anymore
5. Errrr... I think my ceiling needs a new coat of paint

1- I'm so impressed with Aljaz choreography. He did very well with that paso and Abbey performed really well. I was pleasantly surprised. She was slightly undermarked imo.
There was definitely more content in this paso than Susanna's from last week and she didn't even get credit for the level of difficulty in that routine . She's a very good dancer and obviously works very hard.

2-Susanna and Aljaz faces during Brendan's meltdown were hilarious . They had this shocked/confused impression all at once and didn't know if they wanted to clap or not

3-I like Kristina. I did feel bit sorry for her tonight. Can't wait to watch ITT tomorrow

4-still find Ashley boring and forgettable. My favorites are still Abbey & Sophie . I'm sorry but I laughed at Brendan rant and got a sense of deja vu.

5-Bruce ....sigh........
Oh and I didn't find Sophie little speech about her husband cute, I found it awkward and weird. Still love her though.

And since when is the waltz a hard dance

That's the easiest ballroom dance to learn. Or am I too cynical in thinking that the judges are trying to make Ashley appear as a contender or a dark horse ?

Yes , Ashley did a very lovely routine but the waltz isn't difficult and especially at this stage of the competition.

1. My initial thought about Sophie's dress was we've had Halloween week already but from what I recall of Vicky on ITT, Sophie wanted more fabric.

2. I liked Brendan defending their dance and saying he was pleased with Sophie's performance.

3. Natalie's dances are often technically good but I never really get into them.

4. I feel like Ashley is trying his best.

5. I love Blackstreet's version of No Diggity but not the version we had on the show.

1) Judging was 500% better than Blackpool in terms of criticism. But scoring was still erratic and felt horribly predetermined in that it didn't always track with the comments. Patrick was overmarked, Sophie and Susannah undermarked.

2) I'm getting even more annoyed with the audience booing the slightest criticism from any judge. Almost as annoyed as I am at their perennial inability to clap in time if they have to clap along!

3) I really hope Craig says "Ignore Darcy" one of these weeks. Or gives her a disbelieving stare every time she overmarks somebody again. Or interrupts Len or Bruno to tell them they're talking tosh. As head judge Len should be setting a better example AND making the others behave.

4) The music. Words fail. A waltz without a waltz beat to dance to, and tango and paso music utterly unsuited to the dance. Somebody needs a talking-to...

5) Bruce... You gotta go now, go now, go now...

1. Not crazy about any of the dances
2. The music choices are killing the dances. Nothing wrong with modern R'nB, but please make the music fit the dance
3. One of the right two people left, looks like we might get the best six in the last six
4. Tough to call the eventual winner. Susanna's no Kara or Alesha but on the graph of ability and popularity her lines cross at the highest point
5, Glad to see the judges getting tough, or at least, saying they are doing so. Just hope the marking is consistent and realistic for the rest of the series.

1. Massive comedown from Blackpool highs.
2. Sophie dreadfully undermarked yet again. I sense a recurring theme here.
3. Natalie really wasn't that good and still managed to get the best score.
4. Craig criticizing Natalie heavily then giving her a 9???
5. Ashley and Abbey could have done with a few more marks as well.

Making a waltz look good is hard so Len's right in that context. There's not a vast amount you can do with a basic one-two-three tempo and there's a limited amount of steps in a waltz to show off with.
People mistakenly think the waltz is easy probably because most people have done a "one-two-three" waltz style dance at a wedding or similar where they just go round in circles a lot The actual waltz though has some tricky footwork with heel leads, pivots and with natural and reverse turns.

Hmmm... oh well.... I still think that if I can do a good job with it and find it easy, then it must not be that hard (it's really not )
And that footwork isn't tricky....now in another dance like the foxtrot it's a different story.
I still maintain that the waltz isn't hard ; it's easily the easiest ballroom dance to learn
