It's becoming quite sad to watch Bruce - the fluff at the beginning was dreadful - you would have hoped that Tess might step in and try to save the situation but she clearly had no idea what to do.
Almost all the dances were underwhelming - Blackpool-lag maybe? Finally - the judges decide to get picky - just a pity it's taken them so long. Right 2 in the DO and Mark should by rights be out next week - can't see him beating any of the others who are left. Although viewing figures tend to suggest otherwise I'm finding the whole series a bit dull this year which as a fan right since series 1 makes me wonder whether it's Strictly which has changed or whether I'm getting old

Funnily enough, I thought Tess's lack of reaction was spot-on. She let him recover in his own time, without even a murmur of surprise on her face. Can you imagine the scene he might have made if she had 'intervened'?
![]() If you look at Bruno sitting behind, you'll see he's holding his head; he's either laughing or despairing. I don't believe for one minute these same comments we're making on DS about Bruce aren't being made by the production team. I can't think of another prime time show where this situation would be allowed to continue. Four more thoughts? Love Mark, but his time is now up. Hope Iveta is back next year. Rapidly going off Artem; tears in his eyes on the results show? Oh, puh-lease! He must know he's a shoe-in for the final. Hope Ashley starts getting the credit he deserves. I feel he's probably had the best Strictly 'journey', improving slowly and quietly week on week. |

1) A lacklustre week on the whole I thought.
2) Darcey's critique is beginning to get on my wick. 3) Ben's charleston was bad. Kristina did some weak choreography there. 4) Sophie was better but she is still lacking something. Can't put my finger on it. 5) Bruno needs to shut his legs (and mouth) during Len's Lens. |

1. Susanna was woeful
2. Sophie didn't dance a rumba 3. I enjoyed both Natalie and Ashley's dances 4. I am pleased Ben went instead of Mark 5. For once the judges marked correctly |
