The episode begins with Jasmine standing at her ex-husband’s door, as he stands stunned and she stands confident. “Well aren’t you going to let me in?” Jasmine says, smirking. Conrad slowly opens the door, still staring at her shocked. “Nice apartment you’ve got here” Jasmine says as she picks up his underwear off the floor and chucks it into a laundry basket. “I haven’t had much time to clean up recently” Conrad says nervously. “I can see that” Jasmine says as she looks in disgust at the dirty plates at the sink. “So, what are you doing here?” Conrad quickly asks. “Don’t tell me you have forgotten” Jasmine says cheekily, “One year ago, today”

Rachel gets out the taxi, bringing her suitcase of brand new clothes with her. Janice follows her out, with her daughter Ciara and Ciara’s daughter Baby Lillie. “So this is the place?” Ciara says reluctantly. “Yeah, a nice suburban street, none of this caravan site for us anymore!” Janice says enthusiastically. “Is there like any clubs?” Ciara asks. “Yeah, there’s a district down the road, there’s a club there” Rachel says. “Not like you will be going out anywhere anyway” Janice says as she points to Baby Lillie in the pram. Ciara rolls her eyes and pushes the pram up the pathway and into the newly rebuilt Henderson home. “You coming inside?” Janice asks Rachel. “Just a second” Rachel says. Janice heads inside, leaving Rachel to stand alone outside staring at it. She slowly walks up the path, and goes over to the grass spot where Pauly lay dead. She strokes it, and a tear goes onto the ground. She gets up, wipes away her tear and goes inside.

“One year ago when it happened” Conrad replies. “Oh so glad you can remember” Jasmine sarcastically says. “So that’s why you’re here?” Conrad asks. “I didn’t want to be alone” Jasmine tells him as she sits down. “Jasmine, we haven’t seen each other in just under a year, I don’t understand why you would just turn up here” Conrad strangely says. “Our unborn child died a year ago today!” Jasmine snaps, “You know what we were going to call him? Duncan, after your dad.” Conrad puts his head into his hands before saying “That part of my life is over Jasmine, I’ve moved on, I thought you would have too” Jasmine sits back rolling her eyes before calling him sick for just moving on. “There’s no point in just reeling over what happened a year ago” Conrad shouts as he jumps up from his seat. Jasmine glares at him before also getting up off her seat and saying furiously “He was our little baby boy! I loved him, I thought you did too” “Of course I did! But it was a year ago. Life goes on” Conrad shouts in her face. “I can’t believe your even saying this” Jasmine says disgusted. Conrad and Jasmine get closer as they argue when suddenly Conrad and Jasmine exchange in a passionate kiss. “What are you doing?” Jasmine says as she continues to kiss him. “What are you doing?” Conrad says as they continue to passionately kiss while walking to the bedroom.

Elena, Frankie and Andie sit in Jasmine’s kitchen as Elena brags about the new makeover Jasmine gave her room. “A lot different from the streets eh?” Andie laughs. “That part of my life is over, I’m living the high life now” Elena brags. Andie then goes on to state that she is buying a flat, not far from Digital Lane. “Oh, on your own? Where did you get the money?” Elena asks. “Saving for years, hard work but I’m finally there” Andie says. Frankie stares blankly at the wall, “Everything okay?” Elena asks as she taps her shoulder. Frankie comes out of her daydream and smiles while nodding. “Where’s Drew?” Andie asks. “He’s coming over soon” Frankie nervously says. “Seriously, is there something wrong?” Elena interrogates. Frankie is about to speak when Drew walks in the door, with pizza in his hands. Andie and Elena run over eagerly and grab the pizza box off of him and take it into the kitchen. Frankie walks out and asks him for a word. She takes him to the stairs and begins to tell him what he doesn’t want to hear. “Look, I know this is pretty much out of the blue but, I’m breaking up with you” Frankie nervously tells him. Drew fills up with anger, demanding to know where this has come from. Frankie spots Daniel jogging along the Lane. Drew turns around to see him and then realises what is going on. “It’s him isn’t it” Drew says, “I know you had a thing for him but I thought you grew up when you moved here” Frankie gasps as Drew walks out, slamming the door behind him.

“So where is Ant?” Janice drunkenly asks as she cracks open a bottle of champagne. “How am I supposed to know?” Rachel snaps. “I don’t know, just thought you would have heard from him” Janice stupidly replies. Rachel rolls her eyes before telling Janice that he killed Natalie. Janice drops the bottle to the floor and stares at Rachel. “He was an angel back in the day” Janice nervously says. “Not anymore” Rachel says as she grabs the mop to clean the mess up. Ciara walks in with Lillie, handing her to Janice. “And why are you giving her to me?” Janice sarcastically asks. “Going to explore the place, I need some outgoing friends” Ciara tells Janice. “Not while you have a baby” Janice says as she hands Lillie back to Ciara. “Why are you punishing me for having a child?” Ciara angrily asks. “I’m not” Janice says stunned. “It feels that way” Ciara says before angrily walking back upstairs.

Jasmine and Conrad lie naked under the covers, wondering what just happened. “Did we just…” Jasmine says as she picks her bra up from the ground and puts it back on under the covers. “I guess so” Conrad says as he smiles at her. Jasmine laughs before going in for another kiss before getting out the bed and beginning to get ready.

Sandy stands in ‘Have Your Cake’ with Gracie and Brad, as they look at the knocked down wall between ‘Have Your Cake’ and Cloud 9 Spa. “So what do you guys think?” Sandy asks enthusiastically. “What are you actually going to do with all this space?” Gracie rudely asks. “Yeah, it’s a bit much” Brad tells his mother. “Oh sh, it’s perfect!” Sandy moans as she walks through and begins to unwrap the packaging for the new products. Dwayne walks in the door and the 2 children smile as he goes and hugs them both. Sandy walks back through and angrily looks at him. “What do you want?” Sandy asks. “Just seeing the new place” Dwayne calmly says. “Yeah well, we aren’t open” Sandy cheekily replies. Dwayne rolls his eyes before saying “Nice to see you guys and of course a pleasure seeing you Sandy” “Close the door on your way out” Sandy says. Gracie and Brad stand nervously before Gracie spots an upset Frankie across the street and rushes out. She crosses the road and asks Frankie if everything is alright. “I broke up with Drew” Frankie nervously says. Gracie stands shocked before walking along the business district with Frankie.

Elaine and Karl kiss in front of Oliver as he watches jealously. “So how are you feeling?” Karl says. “Yeah, I feel great today thanks to you” Elaine flirts. “Oh get a room” Oliver says rudely. Elaine and Karl laugh before Elaine says “Yeah, perhaps we should” leading him to the bedroom upstairs. Oliver sits jealously before looking out the window to see Jasmine get out of a black Range Rover with Conrad. “Who’s that?” Conrad asks as he sees Elena going into the house. “You don’t need to know” Jasmine says, rushing to the house and waving goodbye to Conrad. Conrad drives out of Digital Lane leaving Jasmine to deal with Elena. Jasmine walks into Elena’s room and throws a suitcase onto the floor. “Pack your bags, you’re going” Jasmine deviously tells her. “What do you mean going?” Elena nervously asks. “Sorry was I not clear? Let me show you” Jasmine evilly tells Elena. Jasmine grabs Elena’s clothes from the wardrobe and opens up the window and begins to chuck them out the window. Oliver comes out of the Gibson house and watches on as do other neighbours. “What are you doing?” Elena screams. “Get out of my house before you end up on the ground like your clothes” Jasmine whispers angrily. Elena looks at her nervously, before rushing out the room and downstairs. Jasmine stands looking out onto the Lane as the neighbours all stare at her. She laughs before slamming the window shut closing the curtains.

This episode marks the first appearance of Ciara Goldburn, played by Sarah Solemani.

Digital Lane star Jenna Coleman in her first interview since Abby Bolen’s temporary departure has hinted that her character’s current break doesn’t mean she won’t be appearing again until November. In an interview with Digital Spy she hinted that she had filmed scenes to go out later in the year before talking her break.

DS: Hi Jenna! First off, how did your break from Digital Lane come about?

Hi Digital Spy! It was always planned for me to take a break from filming after December because I have commitments with Doctor Who. SoapAddict knew of the situation when he signed me up, however he came up with a fantastic temporary for Abby so it’s great. I am excited to return in September after I’ve finished at Doctor Who.

DS: Tell us more about Abby’s temporary exit storyline, where will it lead too?

Well obviously Abby has done a crime by faking her death, so she will need to face the consequences of her actions at some point. However, she’s going to have a bit of fun first. She carefully planned out what she would do and so far it's working perfectly. She’s currently travelling around, you last seen her checking into a mountain lodge using her dead mothers name. Abby’s plan to destroy Jamie’s life doesn’t just stop there, it will lead into something massive which I can’t say at this point, but it’s going to drag other characters into it too.

DS: What was going through Abby’s head when she faked her death?

She would have done anything to get Jamie Collins (Jamie Lomas) away from her sister, if that meant she had to take drastic action she was going to take drastic action. She wanted to punish Jamie also, and saw the perfect chance by getting him imprisoned for life.

DS: Have you filmed any more scenes as Abby for the duration of your break?

Before I left at Christmas, I filmed some scenes that will go out over the course of the break, so Abby isn’t permanently off your screen, but she will be classed as a guest, not a regular. There’s a real emotional episode coming up in March, which I filmed a couple of scenes for before I left, but after that I’m not sure what will happen.

DS: What was it like filming the storyline where you faked your murder and framed Jamie Collins (Jamie Lomas)?

Exhausting! Honestly I couldn’t wait to get to my bed at night. We did a lot of late-night filming so we could use the darkness to our advantage. It was a joy to work with Jamie (Lomas – Jamie Collins), Roxanne (Pallett – Maria Collins), Charlie (Brooks – Jessica Bolen), Michael (Parr, Ryan Bolen) and Gillian (Taylforth – Stephanie Collins). I was sad that I left so soon before Jasmyn (Banks – Stacey Collins) arrived, she’s a fantastic actress and I would have loved to work with her more, however I’m sure we will cross paths when Abby returns in November.

DS: Have you watched the show since your departure?

Yes, I’ve been addicted. I think all the characters involved have grown as characters through this storyline. It was like Christine’s Past storyline, the character of Christine aided the development of Stephanie. So it’s worked out like that for characters like Maria, Jamie etc. I do miss going to the set every day to film with them but I'm currently in Doctor Who with the amazing Peter Capaldi so it's not all bad! [laughs]

DS: How did it feel when all the fans were showing a great love for your character?

It was fantastic. I wasn’t sure if everyone would take to Abby, but they did and I couldn’t be happier with it. I want to thank SoapAddict for the massive storyline he has gave me with this, it will be one for Digital Lane history. I have loved every minute of it and I can’t wait to get back there later this year.

Elena walks along the street, shivering in the cold as she enters the soup kitchen with other homeless people. She looks around nervously as they grunt and cough around her. She walks to the counter with a paper bowl and asks for some soap politely, the women glares at her before grabbing the bowl and slumping lumpy soup onto the bowl. She sighs before noticing a hair in her soap. She walks back up to the counter and politely asks again for another bowl. “Oh boohoo there’s a hair in your soap, you’re lucky your getting anything you ungrateful cow” The woman snaps. Elena is taken a back from her words, so she runs out the soup kitchen and bumps into another young girl. They stare into each others eyes and the girl says “Elena?” “Lola?” Elena nervously replies.

Jessica slowly puts her make up on as she prepares for Abby’s funeral. She gets up from the chair and walks over to the window. She looks over at the Collins house and glares. Maria walks into the room and notices Jessica’s anger. “That family makes me sick to the stomach” Jessica tells her as she turns around to face Maria. “I can’t wait to get rid of the Collins in my name” Maria replies. “You should’ve listened to Abby, she knew what Jamie was capable of” Jessica fiercely tells her. “Don’t blame me for this” Maria angrily replies. “Oh please, it was you who welcomed him in with open arms” Jessica snaps. Ryan walks in and calms them both down, telling them that today is Abby’s day, she wouldn’t have wanted them to fight.

Stephanie cracks open a bottle of white wine and pours herself a glass, before offering a nervous Stacey one. “Mum, are you alirght?” Stacey asks as she slowly walks towards her drunken mother. “Yes! 2 bottles of white wine does wonders you know” Stephanie replies. “Drop the bottle mother” Sophie says as she walks in. Stacey turns around, shocked to see her sister standing there. “What are you doing back?” Stephanie asks. “Dad called me, apparently your getting divorced? What is this silliness?” Sophie mocks as she sits on the dining chair. “So you just came back for that?” Stacey cheekily replies. “I’m only here for a day, so don’t start you’re cheek” Sophie warns. “You probably shouldn’t have chose this day” Stephanie tells Sophie as she spots the hearse arriving outside the Bolen house.

The residents of Digital Lane walk out onto the Lane as they pay their respects to Abby. “That flowers out of place” Elaine whispers to Karl. “Elaine it doesn’t matter” Karl whispers back. Jessica, Maria and Ryan walk out of the house and approach the hearse. Jessica lets out a slight tear as she touches the glass. Maria stands emotionless as she stares at Abby’s name, she then looks up at the Collins house to see Stephanie, Sophie and Stacey coming out to pay their respects. Maria angrily storms over, as Ryan tries to hold her back, however Christine takes his arms and tells him to let her go. Maria walks onto the Collins porch and angrily shouts at them, “How dare you even look at that, she isn’t even in that box because your son won’t tell the police where her body is!” Stephanie looks at her blankly before Sophie cheekily tells Maria “Get back to your funeral, it will be yours next if you don’t shut up” Maria glares at all three of them, before shoving by Charlie who just arrived and heading back over to the hearse. Jessica rolls her eyes and pushes Maria into the car, before getting in herself. The hearse begins to drive out of the Lane, as the black car the Bolen's are in follows. The residents of Digital Lane then walk behind it heading for the church.

Daniel and Frankie climb over Christine’s garden fence, looking for a place they can be alone. “I’m not doing it in a garden” Frankie moans. “What about up there?” Daniel suggests, pointing to the wide-open window to Christine’s guest bedroom. “But that’s Christine’s house, isn’t that trespassing?” Frankie replies. “Oh who cares” Daniel says as he puts the ladders up to the window and begins to climb up them. Frankie looks around nervously before climbing up them herself. She climbs in the window to find Daniel lying on the bed, half naked. “Well aren’t you fast” Frankie tells him as she jumps onto the bed and begins to passionately kiss him.

Inside the Collins, Stephanie gulps down her white wine. "I just want this over with" She tells them as they surround her. "Stephanie you can't keep drinking your problems away" Charlie tells her. "You don't get an input on what I do in my life" Stephanie evilly tells him, before strutting off upstairs. "Has she been like that since I left?" Sophie asks. "She just started drinking and drinking and drinking" Stacey goes on to say. "Right I get the picture" Sophie interrupts. "No need to be cheeky" Stacey tells her. Sophie rolls her eyes as Charlie tells them both to pack it in.

Wendy, Susan and Jack stand outside the church while everyone else goes in. “I know what you are thinking” Susan tells them. “What are we thinking?” Jack asks. “That I’m stupid enough to believe Daniel loves me” Susan replies. “Well…” Wendy says. “I know he wants my money, the real reason I came here was to get my own back on him” Susan reveals. “What? Revenge?” Wendy asks. “Not revenge, just a bit of public embarrassment” Susan jokes as she heads inside for the funeral. Inside the church, Sandy and her children sit neatly as Sandy tells Brad to stop slouching. Sandy sits up straight awaiting the funeral to start when Dwayne comes over and sits next to her. “Can I help you?” Sandy cheekily asks. “Just taking a seat” Dwayne replies. “Well take a seat somewhere else” Sandy moans. “No thanks, I’m just fine here” Dwayne sarcastically tells her. Sandy rolls her eyes and folds her arms. Maria, Jessica, Ryan and Christine sit in the front row as they stare blankly at Abby’s coffin. “I never even said goodbye” Ryan whispers to himself. Christine puts her arm around him and comforts him as the 2 Bolen sisters sit grief-stricken. Christine’s phone goes off and she answers. She sits looking worried before apologising to the Bolens and rushing off out the church. Everyone takes a seat as the service begins.

Elena runs for her life along the street panicking as the other girl chases her. Elena runs into an alleyway, but realises it is a dead end. She turns around and comes face to face with the girl. “Elena, Elena Herefordshire. Long time no see” She cheekily says. “Lola, Lola Attwater, what a nice surprise” Elena says nervously as she tries to be cheeky. “We have a lot of catching up to do” Lola sarcastically tells her as she drags Elena out of the alleyway.

Back on the Lane, Jasmine and Mark organise the wake at the café. “Haven’t spoke in a while” Mark tells her. “It’s for the best, you need to get your marriage back on track with Luisa and I need to make a decision” Jasmine replies. “Decision? What’s up?” Mark asks confused. “I kind of had sex with my ex husband” Jasmine reveals, “I wish I hadn’t, but it felt right you know? I don’t know what to do” Mark stands in jealously before realising that they must still have a connection. “Do what you think is right, everything happens for a reason” Mark advises. “Do you believe that?” Jasmine asks. “Of course, there was a reason Luisa had an affair with Peter and that was because I was neglecting her, there was a reason we kissed and that was because the passion was there between us” Mark tells Jasmine, who hugs him. Luisa walks in and Mark walks over happily and gives her a passionate kiss. Luisa stands smiling after it, before asking Jasmine what she did to get him in such a good mood. “Trust me, it was him who got me in a good mood” Jasmine tells her.

Christine opens the front door to her house wide, slamming it against the wall. She looks around nervously, before heading upstairs. Upstairs, Daniel and Frankie lie in the bed cuddling when suddenly Christine kicks the door open and stands disgusted. “What do you think you’re doing in here?” Christine shouts. “I’m so sorry Christine” Frankie says as she searches for her clothes under the covers. Christine glares at Daniel and tells them both to get out. Daniel gets out of the bed and walks over to her in his underwear and tries to convince her to keep it a secret. He puts his hand on her shoulder and says “Come on, you know what it’s like babe” Christine looks at him disgusted and grabs his arm. She holds it tight and threatens, “Get. Out. Of. My. House.” She lets go and Daniel walks backwards in pain. She glares at them both as they leave. She grabs Daniel’s arm again and whispers “Don’t ever call me babe.”

Back at the church, the crowd gathers round Abby’s grave as the coffin is lowered into the ground, Maria walks up and drops a rose in, Abby’s favourite flower. Jessica walks up and drops the blue teddy bear in and bursts into tears and Ryan comforts his sister. “We commit her body to the ground; earth to earth; ashes to ashes, dust to dust. The Lord bless her and keep her, the Lord make her face to shine upon her and be gracious unto her and give her peace. Amen.” The priest says. “The body isn’t even in the coffin” Elaine whispers cheekily to Karl. The Bolens burst into tears and the residents begin to crowd round to comfort them. Maria asks everyone if they could have some time alone and the crowd walks off to the car park. The Bolens sit round the gravestone, wishing that Abby was still alive.

“So I was successful at one point, had it all, then I sold my businesses on and I ended up here” Abby tells a man in a café on a mountain. “What about that hand of yours” He says, looking at her three fingers. “Accident” Abby quickly says. “I’ve got to go Erica, but it was nice meeting you, we should go climbing together tomorrow” the man asks. Abby nods her head and slurps her coffee before looking out onto the scenery and smiling.

This episode marks the first appearance of Lola Attwater, a guest character played by Katie McGlynn. It also marks a guest appearance from Abby Bolen, who is returning full-time again in November.

The detail was excellent.

I loved the funeral scenes I felt for the Bolen's but Elaine's snide comments couldn't help but make me laugh.

I can't what to see how the Lola/Elena storyline pans out

Very very good episode, the detail really aids in the excellence of the episode.

Elena's one of my favourite characters and I'm loving her story, intruiged about her past with Lola as well. Good send of for Abby, can't wait to see people's reactions when Abby comes back Good scenes with Christine, Daniel and Frankie as well.

Digital Lane Executive Producer has announced a new casting in the form of Sean Maguire, who will play a 'hunky former police officer' called Joe Wilkes. Created by sugarandspice, Joe is a former police officer, who has moved to the Lane to find peace in his life after the tragic death of his wife from cancer a couple of months ago.

Speaking of his new role, Maguire said: "I am excited to be joining Digital Lane in April, the audition process was a long one but the result was what I hoped for. I have met a few cast members and they have been so welcoming. It has been a lovely experience to meet them and SoapAddict, I can't wait to start filming. I'm very excited to be playing such a complex character like Joe Wilkes, I knew when my agent called me up and told me about the part that I had to audition for it. I met with SoapAddict and sugarandspice, who created the character and done a brief audition, it was nerve-wracking, however I was called up the next day for the second round of auditions, I was relieved to have been given a great opportunity like this. I'm really delighted to be joining Digital Lane."

Executive producer SoapAddict said about Joe: "Joe is currently in a very bad place, he arrives on the Lane looking for some peace in his life. Since leaving the police force his attentions have turned to fitness and he will take up a position in Planet Fitness. Daniel Taylor (Scott McGregor) will be a bad influence on him, which will result in a storyline involving a steroid addiction, a storyline I am looking forward to exploring. I am very excited to have Sean Maguire join our cast and I am sure he will provide a great performance as Joe Wilkes."

Sean Maguire will film his first scenes at the end of April, and arrive on-screen in June before the show takes it's summer break.

Luisa walks along a dark street alone holding shopping bags in the rain. She puts her hood up but the wind blows it down anyway. She trips up and falls onto the ground. “Oh for gods sake” Luisa whispers to herself as she looks at the mud on her jacket. She picks up her shopping bags and begins to walk down the street again when a hand suddenly covers her mouth. She screams and struggles to pull it off. “Surprise!” the man says. She pulls the hand off and turns around and the man apologises. “Oh I’m so sorry, I thought you were my wife” The man says. “Your wife? It’s an empty street!” Luisa shouts. “There she is now” He says as he spots a woman coming along the street and smiling at him. Luisa takes a deep breath before slowly walking down the street.

Elena and Lola sit in the soup kitchen as Elena plays with her thumbs nervously as Lola glares at her. “Aren’t you going to say something?” Lola asks rudely. “What do you want me to say?” Elena answers. “How about where have you been all this time? You left me in the lurch” Lola snaps. “I had too, what we done was disgusting” Elena tells her. “So you just leave me here? I got through it, but then again you’re too soft for that” Lola says as she spits in Elena’s face. Elena wipes it off before saying “We caused her death, I’ve never forgiven myself” “Oh please, you’ve clearly been living it up somewhere since it happened” Lola sniggers. “It haunts me everyday, every hour, every minute, every second, I just learned to put on a brave face” Elena reveals. “We both had a part to play in her death, it’s just you took it too far” Lola says. “What? I never!” Elena says, confused. “From now on, it was you” Lola threatens. “I’m not scared of you” Elena nervously says. Lola bangs the table and Elena jumps from her seat. “Really? Because it certainly looks like you are” Lola cheekily remarks.

Ciara sits staring at the wall blankly as baby Lillie sobs loudly. Ciara ignores her daughter, choosing to stare at the wall instead. Janice rushes in and turns the light on. “What you playing at?” Janice asks angrily as she goes over to the cot. Ciara ignores her mother. Janice holds Lillie and tries to calm her down. “Ciara? What’s going on?” Janice nervously asks. “I can’t cope, I want to put her up for adoption” Ciara whispers, still staring at the wall. “What? No!” Janice shouts fiercely. “Mum it’s for the best” Ciara says calmly. “No it isn’t! She is your daughter!” Janice shouts as she walks out the bedroom and heads downstairs. Ciara sits calmly on her bed, still staring at the wall. Janice walks into the kitchen, where Rachel is sitting tapping on an empty glass. “You aren’t going to believe this! Ciara wants to give up Lillie for adoption!” Janice tells her sister. Rachel ignores her sister as she thinks to herself. Janice sighs and says “Doesn’t anyone listen in this house?!” as she storms off with baby Lillie.

Jasmine sits in her living room, looking around at her big empty house. She picks up her phone and scrolls down her contact list. She stops at ‘Conrad’. She stares at it before quickly clicking it and holding the phone to her ear. She bites her nails as she awaits Conrad to answer. The other line picks up and Jasmine smiles, before asking if he wants too come over.

Sandy sits in her living room with Brad and Gracie, who are both on their laptops and phones. Sandy bites her lip before saying “So how was your day?” Sandy sits awaiting a reply, however they ignore her as they tap and swipe on their phones. “Yeah it was great mum thanks for asking” Sandy says sarcastically. Brad and Gracie still ignore her. “It’s like talking to a brick wall in this house” Sandy says as she walks out of the room. Sandy goes to the sink and begins to wash the dishes when she spots a distraught Luisa walking along the street. She dries her hands before rushing to the door and shouting on her. “Is everything alright Luisa?” Sandy asks. Luisa looks up nervously and shakes her head. Sandy invites her in and Luisa follows her. “Clear off” Sandy tells Brad and Gracie. They groan as they leave the room and go upstairs, leaving Sandy and Luisa alone in the living room.

Elena walks to a block of flats and calls up to flat 4C. “Hello?” Andie says. “It’s Elena” Elena nervously says. “Oh, come on up” Andie says on the phone. Elena opens the door and begins to walk up the stairs nervously as she constantly looks over her shoulder to check for Lola. Outside, Lola emerges from the bushes. She stands with an evil look on her face as she approaches the flats. Elena walks into Andie’s flat and almost trips over the boxes. “Sorry for the mess, not had any time to unpack” Andie says as she puts some boxes into the bedroom. “So what’s up?” Andie asks as she fixes her hair. Elena says she needs someone to talk too and Andie tells her she is all ears. In the close, Lola gets in as a neighbour, who is heading out, lets her in. Lola walks up the stairs, listening closely for Elena’s voice through the doors.

Jasmine brushes her hair when she hears the doorbell going. She runs down the stairs eagerly and opens the door, when suddenly her smile drops. Elaine is standing on her doorstep with a bottle of wine. “Can I help you?” Jasmine cheekily asks. “Yes, yes you can, you can help me drink this bottle” Elaine says happily. “I’ve got better things to do, drink it yourself” Jasmine says as she slams the door in Elaine’s face. Elaine rolls her eyes and walks down Jasmine’s path and crosses the dark road and heads back into her house. She walks in to find Karl sitting on the stairs. “What happened?” He asks. “I don’t even care about her anymore” Elaine says angrily. “Oh don’t be angry babe” Karl says as he walks up to Elaine. Elaine opens the bottle of wine and pours herself a glass when Karl begins to kiss her on the neck. “I’m angry, stop it” Elaine says as she tries to resist. Elaine’s smile gets bigger before she puts down the glass of wine and begins to kiss Karl passionately. “Happy Valentine’s Day” she whispers in his ear. Over at Jasmine’s, she sits on the couch fiddling with her thumbs as she waits for Conrad to arrive. She picks up her phone and phones him again, however it goes to voicemail. Suddenly the doorbell goes and Jasmine reluctantly walks towards it. “What is it now Elaine?” Jasmine says as she opens the door. Conrad is standing there and Jasmine laughs with embarrassment, before inviting him in.

Lola knocks on flat 4C’s door. Inside, Andie goes to answer and looks at Lola strangely. “Can I help?” She asks. Elena nervously walks into the hallway when she sees Lola standing there. Lola shoves by Andie and runs towards Elena. Elena rushes to Andie’s living room window, which is a long one. She opens it and looks down. “What the hell is going on?” Andie shouts as she tries to grab Lola. “Go on, jump” Lola says evilly. Elena turns around nervously before having second thoughts. She asks Lola what she wants and Lola tells her she wants payback. Elena is about to go back into the flat when suddenly her foot gets caught and she falls backwards, falling from the window and ends up lying on the grass unconscious. Andie stands angrily, before running towards Lola.

Jasmine and Conrad lie in bed giggling like children as they cuddle. “Happy Valentines Day” Conrad whispers to her. “I never thought this would be happening again” Jasmine tells him. “Me either, but I’m glad it has” Conrad tells her back as he passionately kisses her. “To think, a year ago we hated each other, we still do though, but we still love each other. I love you Conrad” Jasmine says. Conrad’s smile drops as he looks to the ceiling. “Yeah, I love you too” He whispers. The two prepare to go to sleep when suddenly Jasmine hear a bang downstairs. Jasmine jumps from the bed and puts on her housecoat. “What are you doing?” Conrad asks, unaware of the bang. “I see your hearings still the same. There was a bang, get up!” Jasmine tells him. Conrad gets up and puts his shirt on and follows her down the stairs. They slowly walk down the stairs and Jasmine grabs the candlestick from the table. She listens carefully and hears noise from the kitchen. She walks in as Conrad stays back. “Oh come on, don’t tell me your scared” Jasmine quietly whispers to him. Conrad scratches his head before slowly following her. Jasmine walks into the dark kitchen, as the sounds get louder as the figure rummages through her cupboards. She spots his foot sticking out. She looks at Conrad before violently whacking the candlestick on the figure’s neck, they fall onto the floor and lie unconscious. Jasmine orders Conrad to turn the light on and he does so. Jasmine’s jaw drops as she stares at Brad Foster, lying on the floor unconscious.

Sandy hands Luisa a cup of coffee and asks if anything is wrong. Luisa tells her about the situation earlier and Sandy tells Luisa that she doesn’t understand why it is a big deal. Luisa gets up and checks if anyone is around, before shutting the living room door and sitting down. “I’ve only ever told Mark about this Sandy” Luisa tells her, “I need you to keep quiet about this” “What is wrong?” Sandy asks worriedly. Luisa shuts her eyes before slowly opening them and putting her hand through her hair and sighing. “We were a close family, until a man came around one day and wrecked my parents marriage” Luisa begins to slowly say. “I was only 12 when it started, I was innocent. He was a horrible man.” She continues, as she begins to get upset. “My step-father would creep up to my room at night, at the time I didn’t know what to do” She says slowly as tears begin going down her face. “He would cover my mouth and tell me to keep quiet. He, he, he” Luisa says as she can’t bring herself to say it. “Did what?” Sandy nervously asks. “He. He. He. He, he would rape me and abuse me, constantly.” Luisa says as she begins to slowly cry. Sandy goes over to comfort her as she continues. “He told me it was ‘our little secret’, Sandy I was so scared” Luisa says as she sobs in Sandy’s arms. “I can’t help but constantly look over my shoulder in the street, just waiting for him to appear.” Luisa admits, “He died, but I can’t forget about what he done” “He destroyed my childhood, he called me filthy names, I was only 12, I didn’t know what to do. Valentines Day just reminds me of him, it’s when it started” The episode ends as Luisa cries in Sandy’s arms, as Sandy sits absolutely stunned.

Fantastic episode I loved the Luisa and Sandy's scenes I felt so sorry for her I never expected her secret to be something that bog and shocking, I can't wait to read Monday to see what happens to Elena after her fall and Lola makes a great villain, Jasmine and Conrad have great chemistry and I think they're an intriguing pair but what's more intriguing is to why Brad Foster was in her house?, Overall a fantastic episode I've sent you a PM

Poor Luisa! What a horrible horrible things she's had to go through, lovely scene with her and Sandy though, really interesting to read. Poor Elena as well, hope she's alright. Great scenes all round between all the characters

Fab ep! Elena & Lola are wonderful characters - Their story line is very realistic and is great to read

The scenes with Luisa at the end with Sandy were amazing - I feel so sorry for Luisa and want to give her a hug

Jasmine panics as Brad lies unconscious on her kitchen floor, Conrad looks at him confused, wondering who he is. “It’s that Sandy’s son. Oh please don’t be dead” Jasmine says as she checks for a pulse. Conrad stands nervously before picking up the candlestick and cleaning it. “He’s still breathing! Wait, what are you doing with that?” Jasmine wonders as she tries to lift Brad’s body. “His blood is on it, if someone sees it we could get done” Conrad tells her. “It was him who invaded my house, it had to be done” Jasmine whispers as she lays Brad’s body on the couch. Conrad sighs before helping her clean up the blood from Brad’s neck.

Luisa wipes away her tears in the bathroom, she stops and stares at herself in the mirror. She shuts her eyes and then opens them and sees a man standing in the corner. She stands frightened before turning around to see nothing is there. She takes a sigh of relief, before grabbing her bag and leaving the bathroom. She thanks Sandy for the help and Sandy tells her she is always there for her. Luisa leaves the Foster house and Sandy shouts on Brad and Gracie. Gracie comes downstairs nervously, knowing her brother left the house without Sandy knowing. “Where is Brad?” Sandy asks. “I don’t know” Gracie quickly says as she sits at the dining table on her laptop. Sandy looks at her daughter suspiciously, before walking upstairs to check for Brad. She walks into his room to find the window flying open and the curtains blowing in the wind. She rushes over to find a ladder leading to the ground at the window. She sighs, before slamming the window shut and standing there with worry.

Elena slowly wakes up and finds herself on the grass, surrounded by Andie. “You okay?” Andie asks nervously. “I think so” Elena says as Andie helps her up. Drew pulls up in the street and gets out and laughs at how Elena is covered in mud. “Leave her alone, she just fell from the window” Andie says. “Fell from a window? That’s new” Drew says cheekily. “I’m warning you, shut up” Andie tells him. Andie and Drew help Elena up the stairs to the flat. Andie nervously opens the door and lets them both in. Elena and Drew walk into the hallway and stand stunned. The camera moves round to reveal Lola Attwater, lying on the carpet with blood pouring from her head, dead. “Is she…” Elena says nervously. “It just happened” Andie whispers. “What the hell have you done Andie?” Drew says. Andie stands shaking, before telling them what happened. Flashback moment – ‘Andie gasps as Elena falls from the window. “Who do you think you are?” Andie screams at Lola. “Lola Attwater, what about you?” Lola says cheekily. "Don't you dare go down there and hurt her" Andie screams. "I'll do what I like, you can't stop me" Lola deviously tells her. Lola shoves by her and walks down the hallway, when Andie lifts a champagne bottle from the rack and chucks it at her head. Lola collapses on the ground and Andie stands in a state of shock, breathing heavily. “Am I going to prison?” Andie asks nervously. “No, we can come up with something” Drew tells her as he hugs her tightly.

Luisa walks into the Young house and walks into the dark living room. She looks around before putting her bag and coat on the chair and heading upstairs. She walks into Rose’s room and smiles at her sleeping daughter. She goes over to the bed and kisses her on the forehead, before shutting the door quietly and going into her bedroom. She walks in to find Mark lying on the bed, not asleep. “Where have you been?” Mark asks nervously. “Sandy’s, we had a nice talk” Luisa says as she goes over to the window to shut the curtains. “Call me next time, I was worried sick” Mark tells her. Luisa’s face drops as she stares out the window. “Mark, quick, look” Luisa whispers. Mark gets up from the bed and stares out and looks furious as he stares out. Out on the Lane, Jessica and Peter Young walk along heading for the Bolen house. Jessica drunkenly falls over, however Peter catches her and they laugh. “Thanks for tonight Peter, I really needed someone to talk too” Jessica tells him as she places her hand on his chest. “Don’t Jessica!” Mark shouts as he runs across the Lane. Jessica looks at him confused, whereas Peter smirks at his brother. “He’s bad news Jessica, don’t fall for his charms” Mark warns. “I’ll do what I like actually. Peter has been amazing to me tonight, so how dare you suggest otherwise” Jessica furiously tells Mark. “It’s a big mistake Jessica, he’s only going to wreck your life” Luisa warns as she emerges from behind Mark. Jessica rolls her eyes and drunkenly walks over to Luisa and points her finger in her face. “I’ll do what I like Luisa Young. I do what I want, when I want. If I want to sleep with Peter, I’ll sleep with Peter. Now get away from me before I slap you one” Jessica whispers in her face. Luisa nervously sighs before walking off with Mark. “Sorry about that, I’m not usually that angry” Jessica says flirtatiously to Peter. “I quite like it when your angry actually” Peter smirks. The two passionately kiss before Jessica drags him to the Bolen house.

Brad slowly wakes up and scratches his head. “What am I doing here?” Brad asks Jasmine, who is standing over him. “You tried to rob me! For gods sake Brad, I thought you were better than that” Jasmine cheekily says. “I don’t even remember what happened” Brad says. “Well, I’m taking you home, your mother will be hearing about this” Jasmine warns. “But you’re lucky we aren’t pressing charges” Conrad says as he buts in and stares at Jasmine. Jasmine sighs before helping Brad get up and walks him out the house. Conrad stands in the living room, before taking out his phone and staring at the contact, ‘Laura White’. Out on the Lane, Jasmine struggles as she walks with Brad across the road. “Are you alright?” Brad nervously asks. “Perfectly fine” Jasmine tells him as she pushes him to open the door. He walks in and Sandy rushes towards him, shouting that he can’t go out without asking. Sandy then notices Jasmine standing there, she puts on a fake smile and asks what she wants. “Your son broke into my house and tried to rob me, I want an apology!” Jasmine angrily snaps. Sandy freezes, before shouting on Brad. Brad walks over to the door and apologises to Jasmine, Jasmine smiles and says that next time she will press charges. Sandy looks at Brad worriedly as Jasmine walks off.

Elena watches nervously as Andie and Drew drag Lola’s body in a body bag out to the car. “Is anyone around?” Andie shouts quietly. “No, just get this over with” Elena says nervously. Drew tells Elena to go and sit in the car, she nods and shakes as she enters the car. “Where are we going to go?” Elena asks as Drew and Andie get into the front. “We will think of something” Drew whispers as he holds Andie’s hand to stop her shaking. Elena runs her hand through her ponytail and looks down to the floor as they drive off.
Christine and Ryan sit cuddling on the couch, as Christine tells Ryan about Daniel and Frankie. Ryan laughs telling her that there is some unsatisfied people out there. “You should only stick with one person, I mean come on why do you need 2?” Christine wonders. “Well, if I could pick again, I would still always choose you” Ryan tells her. Christine laughs and tells him not to be so silly. “I’m being serious! Your beautiful, intelligent, sexy and good in bed” Ryan says, laughing when he says the last part. Christine laughs also as she gives him a kiss on the cheek. “I’ll be right back” Christine says, before picking up a bag from the chemist as she heads upstairs.

Andie, Drew and Elena drive along a dark country road. “So we are just going to dump it somewhere?” Drew asks as he drives the car. “There’s a lake nearby, hopefully it will wash away” Andie tells them. “I’m so scared” She continues to say worriedly. “I just got so angry I just whacked her over the head” She whispers. “We will make sure nothing happens to you Andie” Drew tells her. Elena sits nervously in the back, knowing she could go down for being involved in this. The car stops at a dark lake with not a soul in sight. The three get out the car and walk to the boot and open it up. Elena covers her mouth with her hand as she stares at Lola’s body in the body bag. Drew lifts it out, with a disgusted expression on his face. Andie and Elena hold one end of the body and Drew holds the other. “On the count of three we launch this and never look back” Drew tells them. Andie and Elena nod and count to 3. “1…2…3!” They shout and throw the body into the deep lake. It sinks into the darkness and Andie runs to the car. Drew and Elena nervously look at each other, before following her into the car. Elena sighs as she puts her seatbelt on, “What will we do if someone comes looking for her?” “She’s homeless. It will be fine” Andie tells her. Elena looks at the lake worriedly as they drive off.

Frankie walks up and down the bathroom, holding a pregnancy test in her hands. She gulps as she stares at it, waiting for a result. Over at the Feathers, Jasmine also holds a pregnancy test in her hands, running her hands through her hair as she waits on a result. “Are you coming to bed or what?” Conrad asks through the door. “Just a second!” Jasmine eagerly shouts, before looking back at the pregnancy test, and sighing. Over at Christine’s, she sits holding one in her hands too, staring at the clock as it counts down the minutes. She wipes away a tear, before beginning to bite her nails. One woman’s positive pregnancy test falls to the ground…

Andie stares at herself in the mirror as she tries to clean herself up. She washes out the blood from under her fingernails as she stares blankly in the mirror. She turns off the tap and dries her hands. She looks up again at the mirror and stares, before bursting into tears and sliding down the wall. The episode ends as Andie sits against the wall, sobbing.

This episode marks the last appearance of Lola Attwater, a guest star played by Katie McGlynn.

Wow! A very dramatic episode! Andie It was spur of the moment thing, she's not a murderer Brad's fate is an interesting one. I'm sure Lola's death will have a huge impact on Andie and Elena

Probably my favourite episode of Digital Lane ever! Very gripping and had perfect moments of suspense and I can't wait till the next!

Brilliant episode agree with Nick one of the strongest so far I was genuinely so shocked as there where no hints or anything as to what was coming up, I'm excited to see Lola's death take it's toll on Elena, Andie and Drew and something tells me that this storyline will lead up to their exits.

The Luisa scenes where also beautifully written as you know from the start she's been one of my favourites

Wow!! Best episode of DL I've read so far, so full of drama and suspense. Andies my favourite character and the murder storyline is definetly going to be amazing. Interesting twist with the pregnancy tests. Enjoying reading Luisas story as well

WOW, fabulous episode! You really kept this quiet, but the murder story line is shocking and I can see it having a big impact on Andie and Elena, I agree with sugarandspice, this will lead up to the exits I reckon, although judging by tonight's twists you probably have some more tricks up your sleeve. Enjoying Luisa's stuff also, it's really good to read and provided some good relief from the other stuff.

I think keeping the turn of events with Andie/Lola has really paid off as you are all shocked. There is a lot to be explored with the storyline. Also with Luisa's revelation on Friday her life will continue to be torn bit by bit. There's a lot more twists to come.
