Digital Lane | Wednesday 4 December | Winter Block

It's a dark and wet night. Gracie stands in front of her home, looking through the window at her ‘perfect’ family. She walks in and hangs up her coat. She looks at them while feeling her stomach. She walks over and sits down next to her mum. Sandy doesn’t acknowledge her and continues to watch television. “Mum, Dad I have something to tell you.” Gracie says. Sandy and Dwayne continue to watch television ignoring her. Gracie huffs and walks over to the tv and turns it off. Sandy and Dwayne get angry and ask her what she is doing. Gracie takes a deep breath.

Ant walks into the Henderson house and goes into the kitchen. Rachel and Natalie are talking about Elaine Gibson as he stands watching them. “That husband of hers is so loving and yet she doesn’t even appreciate it! Hate the woman.” Natalie says. Rachel nods her head and looks up to see Ant. Ant stands motionless as they stare at him. “Something wrong?” Rachel says. Ant tells them he is going to just come right out with it. Ant is about to tell them when he is grabbed by his waist and squeezed. It is Jake, Ant’s boyfriend. Ant sighs as he is taken away upstairs. Rachel and Natalie continue talking about Elaine.

“I’m pregnant. 3 months. Ant Henderson is the father.” Gracie says before running upstairs. Dwayne and Sandy both look at each other with anger. Dwayne knocks over the coffee table and starts blaming Sandy. “It’s all your fault. Your meant to talk to the girl about these things! You silly woman.” He says to her. Sandy gets up and points at him telling him it is not her fault their daughter is pregnant, “How dare you even blame me.” She says to him. Dwayne grabs her finger and tells her that this baby isn’t happening before going upstairs. Sandy sighs and looks over at the Henderson house.

Ant and Jake sit in Ant’s room. Jake can clearly see something is on Ant’s mind. He asks what’s wrong and Ant hesitates before telling him the truth. “You know what…I’m going to be honest. I got Gracie Foster pregnant. It was a mistake though. I still love you.” Ant tells him. Jake is stunned and his cheeks go red. “How could you do that? After all we have been through? I hate you!” Jake says before storming out. He rushes down the stairs and Natalie asks what all the shouting is about. Jake shouts the truth to them both before walking out. Natalie and Rachel stand stunned and Rachel screams “ANT HENDERSON. GET DOWN HERE NOW.”

Dwayne bangs on Gracie’s door shouting her name. Gracie sits crying on her bed telling him to go away. Sandy comes upstairs and tells him that this is not the way to deal with this. “Your right. I should go over there.” Dwayne says as he pushes Sandy out of the way. Sandy quickly follows him telling him not too. Dwayne slams the front door against the wall and walks out onto the front garden.

Rachel and Natalie scream and shout at Ant telling him that he is a disgrace to the family. Rachel walks out and makes eye contact with Dwayne. Ant goes upstairs to his room as Natalie follows Rachel out. “What’s your son playing at? Getting my girl pregnant?” Dwayne shouts at Rachel. “What’s your daughter playing at? Making my son have a baby he doesn’t want.” Sandy and Natalie look at each other nervously. Dwayne clenches his fist and Rachel says “Go on hit me big man. Give me your best shot.” She says as they stand in the middle of the lane. Natalie drags Rachel back and tries to hold her back. Ant and Gracie look at each other from their bedroom windows, both of them let out a huge sigh. Jake emerges from the business district, he has clearly been crying. He walks on the road about to go over to Rachel, when suddenly a car zooms across the pavement from the business district and knocks Jake right over. Jake lies screaming in pain on the ground. The Hendersons and Fosters stop there bickering for one moment as they stand in shock. The camera moves to a dark alleyway when the car pulls in. A trembling figure gets out the car and looks around. The camera moves round to it’s face to reveal Brad Foster.

Digital Lane | Friday 6 December | Winter Block

Ant stands over his boyfriend’s hospital bed with a tear in his eye. Natalie walks in and hands him a cup of water and tells him to drink it. They both look at a sleeping Jake, Ant tells Natalie he wishes he had done things differently and maybe this would have never happened. Natalie tells him that Jake was always going to find out about the baby. Ant sighs.

Christine sits unpacking some of the last boxes and comes across a photo of her and her family. It shows her, 2 sisters and her mother standing next to a gravestone. She lets out a tear before looking up at the clock. She puts the photo down and takes a coat from the wardrobe and goes out the door. She bumps into Stephanie, who is holding a stack of flyers. Christine tells her she has to be somewhere and Stephanie hands her a flyer and asks if she can spread the word about keeping the neighborhood safe. Christine tells her she will and gets into the car and drives off. The car passes a drunk Brad.

Brad slowly walks into the lane and looks over at the Henderson house. He takes another gulp from the bottle and walks towards his house. He goes in to find Sandy and Dwayne arguing again. He walks upstairs and goes to his room. Dwayne suggests getting Gracie to get an abortion and Sandy tells him that there is no way in hell she would condone that before storming off into the kitchen.

Jasmine puts a small suitcase in the boot of her car and gets in. She drives out onto the lane and heads towards the business district. She stops the car outside of the café and sits smiling. Oliver gets into the car and puts his suitcase in the back seats. Oliver kisses Jasmine on the cheek before she drives off down the business district. Elaine emerges from the bushes with binoculars and runs back to the lane. She shouts on Karl and gets into the car. Karl comes down asking what’s up and Elaine tells him she will tell him on the way. They drive quickly out of the lane, as Stephanie glares at them both with her flyers.

Christine approaches a sign in her car that says “Wells Road next left” She stops the car and sighs before taking out another photo of her as a child on a street with her sisters.

Jasmine and Oliver arrive at ‘The Se Détendre Spa” closely followed by Elaine and Karl. Jasmine and Oliver act like children as they get out the car and go in. Elaine stands with her arms folded glaring at them both. Elaine tells Karl “Lock the car, we are staying at the spa for the weekend.” As she watches Jasmine and Oliver go to their room through the window.

Christine stops the car outside a normal suburban home. She looks over at the house next to it and sees a police car in the driveway. She sinks in her seat as she watches them come out the house with a woman. The camera moves to the people. “Thanks for your help officers, hopefully we will catch her soon.” The woman says to the police officers as they leave. She goes back into the house and walks down to the cellar. She looks at her freezer before opening it to reveal a male frozen, dead body inside. “Yes Matthew, our daughter will soon get what she deserves.” She says to it in a smug voice before shutting it again and going back upstairs. The episode ends with a focus on the freezer.

Digital Lane Confirm New Arrivals | 7 December 2013

Producer SoapAddict has announced Digital Lane’s Festive Schedule for Digital Lane’s drama filled Christmas. Storylines taking centre stage will be Christine’s past, The Digital Lane Strangler, Luisa’s fling with Peter and The Henderson’s departure buildup. Storylines conclusions are being kept under wraps until it is aired.


Monday 23rd December – 7:00pm – 7:30pm – Christine goes to massive lengths to keep her secret, but how far will she go when a neighbour is so close to finding out? Meanwhile, Frankie returns to the lane, fearing for her life after the strangling.

Tuesday 24th December (Part 1) – 7:00pm – 8:00pm – Christine is surprised when there is a knock at the door from a blast from the past. Meanwhile, a surprising person makes Jasmine and Oliver’s secret affair public at Stephanie Collin’s Christmas Party. Also, Luisa and Peter have a heated argument, but will Mark over hear?

Tuesday 24th December (Part 2) – 9:00pm – 10:00pm – Christine has to face her past. Elsewhere, Luisa and Peter’s secrets out. Also, an unsuspecting resident gets a strangle.

Thursday 26th December – 9:00pm – 10:00pm – After shocking events on Christmas Day, the lane comes together as they fear for their lives. Luisa and Peter make a plan. Christine makes a life changing decision.

Friday 27th December – 9:00pm – 10:00pm – The news from the hospital gets back to the lane, will it be good? Elsewhere, has Christine made the right choice?


There will be 2 episodes on Christmas Eve, as Digital Lane is unable to air on Christmas Day, so the second episode will represent what would have aired on Christmas Day. Apart from Mondays episode, all episodes will be an hour long. After this week and the week after, schedule will return to normal with episodes being broadcasted on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Digital Lane continues Monday.

DS Soap Opera Digital Lane have premiered a brand new Christmas Teaser Ad. It is 12 seconds long and features 2 characters and black-gloved hands. The characters are standing against a black background as they make evil facial expressions and cheeky smiles. The Digital Lane theme tune climax is heard in the background.

Producer SoapAddict has announced that the viewers now have the chance to express who they think is the 'Digital Lane Strangler'. Viewers now have the chance to vote in a poll and express their opinion on who the strangler is.

It is unknown if any of these suspects are the strangler, but when it is revealed in 2014, it is sure to send shockwaves through the lane.

Digital Lane | Monday 9th December | Winter Block

Maria stands from her front lawn reading the local paper when she notices Christine sitting on her doorstep with a bottle of vodka. Maria walks across the lane and asks Christine what is wrong. Christine tells her everything is fine and smiles. Maria looks at her strangely before walking off. Christine takes another gulp of the vodka and goes inside.

Over at the Fosters, Dwayne wakes up Gracie and tells her to get ready they are going out. Gracie rubs her eyes and asks where. Dwayne tells her she will find out soon before going downstairs. Brad sits in his room, alone with his thoughts. He gets up and opens his curtains and looks at the Henderson house.

At the Spa, Jasmine and Oliver are getting a massage when Elaine bursts in. Jasmine and Oliver look up before looking at each other. “Well, well, well what do we have here?” Elaine says to them. Jasmine is about to speak when Elaine tells her to hush. Elaine tells Oliver to get up and pack his things he is coming home with her. Oliver reluctantly gets up and sighs as he walks out the room. Elaine smirks at Jasmine and says, “He’s my boy, don’t you forget that.” Jasmine rolls her eyes as Elaine leaves the room.

Luisa hands Mark his wallet and gives him a kiss on the cheek. Mark walks out the house and Peter comes down the stairs. Luisa walks into the kitchen and tries to avoid Peter. She starts chopping vegetables when Peter grabs the knife and tells her they need to talk. Luisa pushes him back and tells him there is nothing to talk about before walking out of the room. Peter sighs and notices a family photo of Luisa, Mark and Rose. He picks it up and rips it before going out the back door. The camera moves to focus on the ripped picture which sees Mark and Rose on one part and Luisa on the other.

Ant walks into Jake’s hospital room and Jake glares. Ant tells him that he is sorry for everything and they can have a fresh start. Jake tells him that there is no fresh start for them. Ant stands stunned and promises him that he can change. Jake tells him to leave and never come back. Ant gets on his knees and desperately asks for a second chance. Jake tells him to stop making a fool of himself and go now. Ant walks out with a tear in his eye. Jake sighs as he deletes Ant’s number from his phone.

Dwayne parks the car outside of a clinic. Gracie asks him why are they here and Dwayne tells her she will soon find out. They get out the car and go inside. Gracie looks around her at the young girls with their mothers, the alcoholics and just normal people. She nervously sits down next to her dad and sees how everyone is looking at her. “Gracie Foster” a nurse shouts. Gracie’s heart sinks as she sinks in her chair. Dwayne shouts “Right here!” before pulling her off the seat and taking her into the room. Gracie looks at all the medical equipment before sitting down. The nurse tells her that Dwayne has arranged for her to have a medical abortion, which involves taking pills, which will perform a miscarriage. Gracie looks at her dad angrily. Dwayne gives Gracie a cold stare and Gracie agrees to the abortion nervously.

Sandy walks into Brad’s dark bedroom and asks him if he wants any food. Brad lies quietly on the bed as he looks out the window. Sandy walks in and sits on the end of the bed and asks if there is something wrong. Brad tells her nothings wrong and Sandy looks at her son suspiciously.

Wendy and Jack are just about to leave for the hospital when she spots Drew Ross standing across the road. She walks over to him and asks why he hasn’t visited Frankie. Drew tells her he hasn’t time. Wendy laughs and tells him to make time, people are starting to get suspicious before walking back to the car.

This episode marks the last appearance of Jake Potter.

DS Soap Opera Digital Lane pulled in big figures for it's Monday evening episode, overnight data reveals.

Digital Lane's latest episode, which saw Dwayne force Gracie into an abortion was watched by 11 million people.

The first instalment of the week pulled in massive ratings and bosses hope for this to continue.

(The figures are based upon the amount of views the thread had directly after the episode was posted (2,244) to the amount of views the thread had 12 hours after the episode was posted (2,354). This is 110 viewers, which I made into 11.0 million for comparative purposes)

Producer of DS Soap Digital Lane has announced a stunt that will take place on New Years Day.

In a dramatic turn of events, Ant Henderson (Richard Wisker) will set alight the Henderson home after a heated argument between him and Rachel Henderson (Linda Henry). When Ant lights the match, he drops it onto the gas he has already laid on the ground setting the Henderson house alight. There will then be a massive explosion with heated liquor bottles as the cafe's liquor delivery was put into Rachel's house as Wendy wasn't there for the delivery.

Producer SoapAddict has teased the words 'Nosy Neighbours' when talking about the explosion. It is unknown who apart from the Hendersons will be involved in the first stunt. Fans of the soap are speculating that Rachel, who was saved from being axed will be killed off in a surprise twist. Details of the full stunt and who is involved is being kept under wraps until it is aired.

Digital Lane continues Wednesday.

Digital Lane | Wednesday 11 December | Winter Block

Gracie is lying in her bed with tears in her eyes. She rolls over and looks at the picture of her and her dad, before wiping away her tears and getting up out of bed.

Jasmine hands Elena a cup of coffee as they both make their breakfast. Jasmine asks Elena about her life before they met each other. Elena goes quiet and is saved when there is a knock on the door. Jasmine goes to answer the door and Elena rushes up the stairs. Jasmine is confused to see a distressed Wendy at her door. “Look, you know you’re the last person I would want to go to for help. However, I need help and no one else is around.” Wendy tells her. Jasmine tells her she’d rather not before slamming the door in her face and smirking.

Wendy looks around and sees a calm Christine putting trash into her outside bin. She runs down the lane to ask her for help. Christine asks her what she needs help with and Wendy tells her Stephanie needs some help with the Christmas lights today and she can’t do it as she is visiting Frankie, who is still in a coma. Christine sighs and says she will help Stephanie for her and smiles. Wendy hugs Christine and runs back down the lane.

Luisa hands Rose her school bag and tells her to have a nice day. She then gives a passionate kiss to Mark in front of Peter, who looks at them both with jealousy. Mark walks out and walks to the school with Rose. Luisa turns around to see a jealous Peter. “I want you gone tonight. No later.” She tells him before walking upstairs.

Gracie nervously comes down the stairs, shaking. Sandy notices her daughter’s shakiness and asks her what is wrong. Gracie looks over and stares coldly at Dwayne. Sandy becomes suspicious and asks him what did he do. Dwayne gets angry and tells her that he did nothing wrong. Sandy looks back at Gracie and demands answers on what is going down. Brad slowly comes down the stairs but Sandy ignores him as she stares out Gracie. “I had an abortion alright!” Gracie shouts before running back up the stairs. Sandy turns around and asks Dwayne if he forced her into this. Dwayne looks down at the floor. Sandy walks up to him and slaps him, before demanding he packs his bags and goes.

Maria and Jamie walk down the lane holding hands and giggling. Stephanie glares at her son as she hangs up the Christmas lights. “If I had it my way there would be no way she would be allowed any where near my son.” Stephanie tells Christine and Elaine as they hand her wires. Elaine tells her to not even start her on son’s girlfriends, before looking over coldly at Jasmine, who is looking out her window.

Dwayne comes out of the Foster home with an overnight bag packed. Sandy stands at her front door with her arms folded. The housewives drop everything and go over to Sandy to get the gossip. Sandy tells them everything. They are stunned and offer their support. Stephanie tells them that she needs to get back to doing the lights and everyone goes to help her.

Luisa comes out of the bathroom in a towel and is taken aback when she sees Peter was waiting for her in her bedroom. She demands that he leaves but he doesn’t say anything. He gets up off the bed and grabs Luisa by the waist and begins to passionately kiss her. Luisa stops and looks into his eyes, before going in for another kiss.

Darkness falls and the housewives stand looking proudly at their work as Jamie puts the finishing touches on the Christmas tree next to Christine’s home. Stephanie taps the microphone on the stage in the middle of the lane. Residents come flooding out of their homes to see the switch on. Luisa and Peter come out of the Young house and Luisa has a facial expression of regret on her face as she joins her neighbours. The Bolen sisters stand bored as they wait for the lights to come on. An emotional Sandy comes out with her family and wait for the lights to be switched on. “Okay. Is everyone ready? 3….2….1…. CHRISTMAS!” Stephanie shouts as she presses the big red button. The neighbours stand fascinated by all the colours and lights shining. Everyone forgets about their personal problems for a moment..

Christine spots a hooded figure putting something in her letterbox before running off. She rushes over and unlocks her door and goes in. There is a note lying on the floor. She opens it up and it says in capital letters, ‘I’M COMING FOR YOU.’ Christine looks up nervously and runs her hand through her hair with a scared expression on her face.
