Star of Digital Lane Kate Magowan, has explained her thoughts on her most recent storyline. Viewers have seen Luisa Young and Peter Young(Ben Price) get steamy in a secret affair. Luisa has instantly regretted what she is doing with her husbands brother, but she can't seem to resist. Kate Magowan has teased the explosive Christmas Episode.

Kate said "It's a very unique way for Mark(Tom Lister) to find out about the affair. I can't reveal much about it but it's explosive and it will tear the Young family apart. Luisa can't seem to help herself when Peter is around, which is strange because they have spent around 10 years hating each other. I guess that is where the passion is coming from. Fans have came up to me in the street and asked who Luisa chooses and I tell them that she doesn't have a choice! Mark was her first love and she has always been loyal to him. It's heartbreaking for him because they had the perfect family and now it's been ripped apart by his jealous brother! I've loved working with Ben and Tom on this storyline, I can't wait for the viewers to finally see the episodes!

Digital Lane | Friday 13th December | Winter Block

Christine is lying in her bed staring at the note she was given last night. She sighs as she puts it on the bedside cabinet before getting up. Sandy sits on the couch, exhausted after not sleeping. She goes upstairs to check if she missed Dwayne coming back but there is an empty bed. Luisa and Mark are cuddling in the bed, as Luisa’s face is guilt ridden.

The Hendersons are sitting round the table having breakfast as Rachel asks Pauly about his job at Planet Fitness. Before Pauly can speak, a drunk Ant walks in and demands for Rachel to make him food. Rachel tells him that if he wants food he can make it himself. Ant grabs his mothers wrist and tells her to make him food. “Stop that! Your hurting me!” Rachel says as she tries to pull away. Ant releases her wrist and glares at her. Natalie and Pauly sit nervously. Rachel gets up and goes into the kitchen.

Dwayne wakes up in a hotel room. He can hear singing from the shower as he gets up, rubbing his head. He looks down at the floor to see female underwear and 4 bottles of wine. He slowly approaches the bathroom, trying to discover who he slept with. He reaches the door and the singing gets louder. He opens it slightly and peers inside. “Oi! Just come in.” the voice shouts. Dwayne opens the door and Maria Bolen is standing in just a towel, smirking.

Luisa and Mark cuddle on the sofa as it is Mark’s day off. Mark tells her that they have the whole house to themselves, Rose is at school and Peter is down at the golf courses. Luisa tells him she doesn’t feel like it right now and rests her head on Mark’s chest. Mark sighs as he goes through the channels.

Wendy and Jack watch their granddaughter, sleeping peacefully in a coma. Wendy tells Jack that she wishes Frankie would come out of this so they can find out who did this to her. Jack tells her Frankie may not even know herself.

Rachel cleans the dishes as Natalie watches. “I don’t know why you let him treat you like that. He’s old enough to care for himself.” Natalie tells Rachel. “He’s my son! It’s not easy to just tell your son to go. I love him.” Rachel tearfully says to Natalie. Natalie huffs and walks away. Rachel lets out a tear onto the clean plate.

Dwayne asks Maria how they got together and Maria tells him,

FLASHBACK – Dwayne sits drowning his sorrows at the bar and Maria comes in and orders a drink. She looks over and sees a sad Dwayne and pounces. “What’s up?” she says to him. “You saw. You heard. Don’t bother.” Dwayne replies. Maria tells him she has had a pretty bad day too, fighting with her sister and her possible mother in law hating her. Dwayne chuckles. Maria looks at Dwayne lovingly and tells him he can do much better than Sandy anyway. “I really can’t.” Dwayne tells her. Maria says “Yes you can, watch.” Before passionately kissing him.

“And that’s how it happened.” Maria says. Dwayne sits on the bed full of regret telling her it should have never happened. “Well I’m bloody glad it did.” Maria says before grabbing her coat and bag and walking out the hotel room.

Christine is hovering when a nosy Stephanie walks in. “Oh I didn’t see you come in.” Christine says as she turns the hoover off. Stephanie tells her the door was open so she let herself in. “Is there something I can help you with?” Christine asks. “No, just wanted to invite you to my dinner party on Monday, can you come?” Christine tells her she will be there and gets back to her hoovering. Stephanie walks out smiling.

Peter walks in to find Mark and Luisa sharing a passionate kiss on the couch while watching tv. Peter goes upstairs jealous and slams his bedroom door before thinking of what to do next. He sees a bit of paper and grabs a pen and begins to write.

Maria walks in the front door to find rose petals laid out on the floor leading to the dining room. She puts her coat and bag down on the couch and confusingly follows the trail. She opens the dining room door to find romantic decorations up and 2 plates on the table. Jamie emerges from behind and gives her a kiss on the cheek. Maria smiles and asks what this is all about and Jamie says she will find out later. Maria sits down with a massive grin on her face.

Rachel stands out the back smoking when she hears shouting from inside. She rushes inside to find Ant repeatedly hitting Pauly with Natalie screaming. Rachel grabs Ant and pulls him away. She slams him against the wall and tells him that if he steps out of line on more time, he’s gone. Ant shoves her away and storms off out. Natalie tries to wipe away the blood on Pauly and Rachel evilly looks out at Ant outside.

Peter folds up a bit of paper and goes downstairs. He puts it into his pocket and asks Rose what her favorite Christmas book is. “I don’t have one. But daddy always reads Cinderella to me on Christmas Day before I go to bed!” She tells her uncle. Peter smirks and goes back upstairs. He goes to Rose’s bookshelf and looks for ‘Cinderella’. He opens the book and puts the bit of paper in it. He puts the book back in the bookshelf and walks out.

Maria asks why Jamie is doing all of this and he tells her there is something very important he needs to ask. Maria looks at him suspiciously as he gets down on one knee. “Maria Bolen, I’ve loved the past year I have spent with you. You picked me up from when I was in a very dark place after my brother died in that awful car crash. Maria, will you do the honor of being my wife and marry me?” Jamie lovingly says to her. Maria sits stunned in her chair and instantly says yes before passionately kissing him and laughing. The camera moves to the living room, where a jealous Abby Bolen is standing by the door, listening to every word.

Christine walks out of her house and gets her bag from the car. She looks up at the full moon and smiles. She then shuts the car door and locks it. At the corner of her eye she can see a figure behind the bushes. She looks at it confusingly before slowly crossing the road and heading towards the bush. She nervously stops and looks at it. No one is there and she takes a deep breath. She quickly walks back to her house. “Yes. It’s definitely her.” A voice says from behind the tree.” The camera moves round to reveal Christine’s mother on the phone to someone.

Sandy lies sprawled out on the couch as she eats junk food. Brad comes down the stairs, looking distressed. Sandy tells him to sit down. Brad sighs and sits on the end of the couch. Sandy sits up and demands Brad to tell her what is wrong. Brad tells her nothing is wrong before looking over and seeing Rachel sitting on the Henderson doorstep. “Is it about them?” Sandy says. “You could say that.” Brad replies. Sandy tells her son that he can tell her anything and she will still love him. “Even if I ran over someone?” Brad replies. Sandy sits stunned and quietly asks who. “Jake Potter, it was that night when you were all fighting out on the lane.” Sandy struggles to breathe and asks him why he has kept this a secret. Brad tells her that she would have gone to the police right away if she knew. Sandy hugs her son and tells him everything will be alright, mum’s going to make it better.

Yay, they are interesting characters and a great family. I loved the way Peter wrote something after witnessing his wife kissing his brother, he didn't just storm up to him and knock him out.

Would have been quite of character for that, especially as he is in the wrong! Can't wait for the big reveal.

No spoilers released for the coming week, too many big events, don't want to spoil.

The cast list released today surprised fans as they saw 2 new names on the list. 'Ross Parker' and 'Alfie Goldburn' were placed in the future characters section. Producer SoapAddict officially announced the castings to the press today.

Alfie Goldburn, played by Tom Colley, is an addition to the already new family the Goldburns, who are an extension to already established character Rachel Henderson. Alfie is Ciara's younger brother and Janice's youngest child. SoapAddict teased that he and his mother have not spoke in years and him arriving on the Lane will sure be a shock to her. He has been described as "Alfie is nasty and has a sly streak in his personality, Alfie is set to turn heads on Digital Lane, particularly discreet Christine Walker but is he playing with fire?"

Ross Parker, played by Michael Dixon, will return to the Lane after he lived there 5 years previously. Ross lived on the Lane with his mother and father 5 years ago before they left to move to New York. However, Ross will return to the Lane, which will surprise his neighbours after the circumstances he left in. Ross has been described as just a normal guy, who carries a lot of baggage from his past. Residents will be surprised to see him back on the Lane, especially leaving 5 years ago after such awful events on the Lane.

It is unknown when they will arrive on the Lane.

Digital Lane | Monday 16th December | Winter Block

Drew knocks on the Cole house door nervously. An exhausted Wendy comes down the stairs and is stunned to see him at her door. “I was wondering if I could come to the hospital with you.” Drew asks Wendy. Wendy agrees and lets him in and goes upstairs to get ready. Drew sighs as he looks at a photo of Frankie on the wall.

Maria and Jamie come downstairs laughing like children and go into the kitchen where a jealous Abby is making toast. Maria tells Abby she has news and Abby pretends she doesn’t know and asks her what the news is. “Me and Jamie are engaged!” Maria shouts. Abby puts on a massive smile and hugs her sister, she rolls her eyes while they hug.

A shiny red car drives into the lane and stops at the Collins house. Sophie Collins gets out and takes in the fresh air. Stephanie and Charlie come out and greet their daughter. “So glad you could come dear.” Stephanie says. Sophie asks where Jamie is and Stephanie looks over at the Bolen house, where Maria and Jamie are standing waving. “Don’t get me started on them.” Stephanie tells her daughter as they go inside.

The Coles and Drew go out and into the car, Brad and Drew make eye contact as he gets into the car. Sandy pulls Brad away from the window.

“So tell me what’s going on with Jamie and that Bolen?” Sophie asks her mother as they lay out the table. Stephanie tells her that she is scared of losing her son to that girl and that she is twisting his mind. Sophie tells her not to worry she will sort it out. Charlie comes in and tells Stephanie she might want to see this. Stephanie rushes to the window and sees Maria Bolen flashing a massive engagement ring as she approaches the house with Jamie.

Christine grabs her bag and coat and is about to leave when the phone goes. She puts everything down and answers. “Hello?” She says. There is no reply. The other line hangs up and Christine looks at the phone strangely before heading back out.

Wendy, Jack and Drew gather around Frankie’s bed, hoping she would wake up sooner. “I want you to answer me truthfully Drew. A yes or no answer. Did you do this to my granddaughter?” Wendy asks Drew. Drew looks up at Wendy and tells her he had nothing to do with this. Wendy glares at Drew and walks out, Jack follows her. “I’m so sorry.” Drew whispers to Frankie as he quietly walks out.

Elaine, Karl, Christine, Sandy, Maria and Jamie all sit round the Collins table. Stephanie and Charlie walk in with the dinner and Elaine spots an extra seat. “Who’s the special guest Stephanie?” Elaine cheekily says. Sophie walks in and everyone looks at her surprised. “Elaine Gibson! Nice to see your still on the lane.” She sarcastically says. Elaine puts her head down and slurps her soup. Sophie looks over at her rival Maria and says “Looking quite old Maria, the years haven’t been good to you.” She says. Maria gets up and glares at Sophie. “Still a cow then. Some things never change.” Maria says as she walks to the kitchen. Stephanie smiles at Sophie and Sophie winks as she sits down. Christine and Sandy look at each other strangely and continue to eat their soup. Sophie walks into the kitchen and glares at Maria. Maria asks “What do you want now?” while she pours a glass of wine. “I want you to stay away from my family. Including my brother.” Sophie tells her. Maria shows her the engagement ring and tells her she isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and laughs. Sophie grabs her wrist and threatens her. “Oh trust me. You don’t want to make me angry.”

Christine walks into her house and turns the light on as she hangs her coat and bag up. She looks down to the floor to see an old and ripped newspaper article. It reads ‘SISTER MURDERS SISTER ON CRUISE’. Christine reads it and sighs before running out and putting it in the recycling bin who parts of it teared up. The episode ends with a focus on the headline.

This episode marks the first appearance of Sophie Collins, on a recurring basis.

This week is quite quiet as it's the buildup to dramatic Christmas episodes for Christine!

Digital Lane bosses have announced a special 3 hander episode to mark the highly anticipated arrival of the third sister Jessica Bolen.

Airing in January, the three hander will see the Bolen storyline blow with huge consequences for characters Maria Bolen and Jamie Collins. The three hander will also give the viewers more insight to the Bolen sisters and why they are the way they are.

The three hander will include Maria Bolen (Roxanne Pallett), Abby Bolen (Jenna-Louise Coleman) and new arrival Jessica Bolen (Charlie Brooks).

Details of the storyline for the Bolens are being kept under wraps until nearer the time, but producer SoapAddict has promised it is original and the viewers will not see it coming.

Digital Lane continues Wednesday at 7pm.
