No inspiring or Wow-factor dances tonight.
I had a real problem deciding on who to vote for tonight- there was nothing that stood-out entertainment-wise or talent-wise. None of the dances had me racing to the website to vote, although I did manage to decide eventually. Maybe they're all exhausted at this stage of the series, especially post-Blackpool.

Not true. At one point I went "WOW! They think a swimsuit and a mosquito net is a good rumba dress?" and I also thought "Wow! We're actually seeing the point where Brucie does a Tommy Cooper!"
Admittedly that's not dance related, but hey, beggars can't be choosers. |

There was simply not enough Kevin From Grimsby tonight. I'm off to complain to the Beeb.

I disagree.
Ashley & Ola had wow factor - and if they'd gone last their dance would have made more impact I think. And so did Sophie & Brendan. Their Rhumba subtly cast a spell on me. Didn't realise how sucked in I was til it had finished. Theirs isn't an "obvious" performance style though, and never will be, so I think people (including the judges) are just going to have to take them or leave them. I'll take them. |

There's a sort of ghastly fascination at watching Tess's fixed grin while Bruce fluffs his lines. Bruce and Len are also having an intensifying Grumpy Old Man competition. Meanwhle Darcey is rocking the asymmetric cleavage look. Bruno is losing it both physically and verbally. And I kept trying to work out whether it was dandruff or 'artificial snow' on the back of Craig's chair.
Was there some dancing too? |

have to agree, the show seemed rather flat tonight. i thought both natalie and an=bby danced well, but the music choices got in the way and really detracted from the performances. sophie's was the only dance i really liked, and that got slated!
